NATHAN….
Nathan opened his eyes, the wind was blowing, the leaves of Prunus Vitalis were carried along. Domina's hand landed on Nathan's shoulder as he lay down, Domina sitting next to him on his left.
"Fuck..." He slowly sat up, dragging in a long breath.
"What's wrong?"
Livia plopped down on his right, her cheerful eyes wide, watching Nathan like a puppy waiting for a treat.
"Ahh... n-no, I just—" Nathan's throat tightened. He waved a hand vaguely. "Forget it."
"What do you mean you're weak?" Livia tilted her head, bunny ears twitching. "Why are you saying you're weak?"
Shit. Was I talking in my sleep? Nathan rubbed his forehead.
"Well, I mean... it's obvious you're weak," Livia chirped, blinking innocently.
"Ugh..." Nathan winced. "A-ahahhah..."
His laugh came out thin, like a man pretending he hadn't just been stabbed with words.
Domina's hand slid to his back, warm and steady.
"And what do you mean, you should be like others?" she asked softly.
