During the two months he spent with Eleanor, Sylas found himself in a very different world. The fact that his body belonged to a 10-year-old child had helped him find some kind of balance in the ever-changing world of his soul. Spending time with his aunt gave him a completely different world. Eleanor's loving attitude gave him a kind of peace, while also shaping his new identity.
Every morning, Eleanor gently woke Sylas up to start the day. They began doing yoga together, trying to bring the physical experiences of his previous life into his childish body. One day, Sylas opened his eyes and saw the sunlight starting to spread throughout the room. The small table next to Sylas' headboard was filled with old books, and after each morning's yoga session, they meditated comfortably together.
Yoga soon became more than just a physical exercise for Sylas. He realized that each movement helped him clear his inner thoughts and feelings. "Accepting the body is like accepting the soul," Sylas thought. As he began each day, he pushed back the chaos inside him one step further, and with each morning's deepening of his breathing, he put aside his old, tired thoughts.
Eleanor told him that practicing yoga every day strengthened not only the body but also the soul. Sylas became more attached to these teachings day by day, seeing this morning ritual as a kind of sense of security. As he spent time with his aunt, he realized how relaxed, funny, and understanding she was. Eleanor allowed him to act like a child, allowing him to explore freely without interfering with her.
One morning, Sylas remembered his old passion; taking photographs. It had entered his life like an old light. As he slowly adjusted to the functions of his child's body, he was once again eager to research cameras and learn the techniques of the old artists. As he was having coffee one morning in Eleanor's kitchen, a sudden excitement sparkled in his eyes. "Yes, I should try photography again," he thought. "Everything, every moment should have a visual reflection. This is an art to me, a form of expression."
A few days later, Eleanor gave him an old camera as a gift. Sylas took a walk in the garden with his aunt, holding the camera in his hand, and began to shoot nature, flowers, birds, and leaves moving in the wind. This reminded him of memories from his old life; rediscovering art, beauty, and the world he had always wanted to see.
Despite his childish body, Sylas still felt the creative spirit within him, and with Eleanor accepting him, he was now at the beginning of a new life.
As the summer vacation ended, Sylas' inner turmoil slowly subsided. This time with Eleanor had not only brought him physical renewal, but also emotional renewal. But now, a change had been complete. He felt ready to return to his old life.
"I have to go back to middle school," Sylas thought. He was a different child now, a different person. Where he had once focused only on his body, he was now in harmony with every part of his soul. He had accepted the love Eleanor had offered him, but after a while, knowingly or unknowingly, he had built a bridge from the past to the present. He had taken the first steps towards becoming himself.
The decision to return to middle school seemed to him like a way to bring back his old self. Yet there was a confidence he had never felt before. Eleanor's love and comfort had strengthened him in every sense. He felt this strength more and more each day, and each day he spent at school made his identity clearer. "I can do this," he thought. And after all, it was only the beginning of his life.
