"So, can you decline my brother's offer?"
"Is it this again?" Kaelith mumbled, lowering his head as he broke the gaze he and Leonhardt were holding.
But Leonhardt wasn't about to let it end like that. He gently reached out and tilted Kaelith's chin back up, making their eyes meet again. Kaelith's brows furrowed in confusion at the gesture, and he quickly snapped Leonhardt's hand away, huffing, "Why did you do that? Trying to break my neck or something?"
He rubbed his neck while shooting Leonhardt an annoyed, cautious glare.
Leonhardt then said, "Say something reasonable. This is serious."
"Yes, I know it's serious," Kaelith replied, nodding as he scratched the back of his neck in thought. "How about this? I go back and think about it? I'm not interested in giving an answer now."
