Mei Mei's life had settled into a new routine. During the day, she was either at work or training. Mostly, she was training and that was where she was when she first saw the video of Lucy trying to reach around assistant Xu to hug Jingzhe.
She was about to have lunch by the pond in the royal courts stables with Jingzhe. Mingzhu and her father had delivered that lunch. They had brought a share for Thunder Muyang too and the horse was already feasting, unlike her who was frowning.
"Here." Her father handed her a small bowl with shrimp dumplings.
"Thank you." She answered absentmindedly, frowning as she placed the bowl down on the picnic blanket.
Muyang snatched the phone from her hands. "Eat Mei Mei, you have two more hours of training left for the day and you cannot do it on an empty stomach."
