Madam Feng shook her head and brought the hot chocolate into the room. She took Mingzhu from Jingzhe's arms and sat down on the single sofa neat the balcony, looking out at the rain.
Mama Su handed her a cup and a spoon. Madam Feng started feeding Mingzhu hot chocolate as if the little one had no hands or ability to drink from a cup.
Mingzhu loved being treated like a baby and she opened her mouth happily. Her fingers played with the simple diamond necklace around her grandmother's neck.
"We should increase the number of bodyguards we have or get more guard dogs." She started. "Can you imagine what would have happened if Mo Liang had showed up with that knife when the princesses were around?"
