Mei Mei could hardly bring herself to imagine how those poor teenagers had lived. From the story Jingzhe was telling her, it seemed like they targeted young geniuses from single parents homes without influence, orphans and those from poor backgrounds.
They took people whose absence would not cause too much chaos. But, it was hard for her to imagine Madam Feng staying quiet while Jingzhe was gone. The Mo's would not have bothered to look for him but her, she would have moved heaven and earth to find him and bring him home.
