Chapter 80 - Chapter 80- Large Action

After returning to his own room, Li Wei did not rush to make new bullets, but first took a good sleep.

This sleep was very sweet, with eight hours of sleep allowing him to completely recover from the fatigue of overusing the Sharingan the day before.

Looking outside, it was just dawn and the sky was barely brightening, as he had slept early yesterday and the clock showed that it was not yet six o'clock in the morning.

There was no need to rush out, so Li Wei washed up and planned to try making impact rounds.

The first time was a shameful failure.

Subordinating penetration rounds are level one magical rune props, while impact rounds are around three levels. The difficulty of making impact rounds is not only reflected in the complexity of the magical runes. The increase in equipment levels represents the higher energy contained within, and naturally, the requirements for the energy control of the manufacturer and the magical rune master are also higher.

Li Wei had not yet officially entered the inscription phase of the magical pattern, and due to the insufficient control of energy by his willpower, it led to failure. This situation was exactly the same as when he just started learning how to create substandard inscription bullets.

However, he was not too discouraged by this. Having gone through a challenging experience already, Li Wei's adaptability to such setbacks had become very good.

He calmly began to guide the energy flowing out from the converter once again, attempting to condense it onto the magical pattern engraving knife. As the energy gathered more and more, approaching the level required to create shock bullets, the energy went out of control once again.

There is no doubt that this was another failure.

Li Wei remained unperturbed, and he began to condense for the third time, failed, and then it was the fourth time.

Despite his repeated failures, this time, in fact, he felt much better than when he was making secondary puncture shells. At least, after each failure, he could always sense some improvement and progress, unlike initially when countless failures accumulated to barely grasp the threshold.

This might be because his level on the Will Chain has indeed improved to some extent. After all, compared to the past, he has now completed the Extreme Refinement, and his mental and physical qualities have greatly enhanced.

After an hour, Li Wei, who failed a dozen or so times, finally managed to achieve a level of energy condensation reaching Tier-3.

Firmly remembering this feeling, Li Wei conducted a few more attempts and, after being certain that he could maintain this condensation for more than ten minutes, he began officially making Impact Shells.

The movements of Cai Yutong, firmly imprinted in his mind, were recreated by his steady hands. The energy guided out from the converter gathered on the tip of the magical pattern carving knife, slowly and continuously etching a complex magical pattern onto the metal surface of the bullet.

The magical pattern must be completed in one go, with absolutely no interruption in between.

The combination of eyes and hands, the Copy Wheel Eye and the Devil's Left Hand, worked together even more perfectly than they did during combat!

After ten minutes, Li Wei firmly controlled the entire production process, and a shock bullet was formed in one go.

"Phew..." He exhaled a long breath, his tense spirit for so long could finally relax.

The production of this shock bullet was really not easy. Li Wei clearly felt that his willpower was severely consumed, much more tiring than making the Sublevel Piercing Bullet.

In the past, he could easily make dozens of submunitions without any issues. If he took a break in between, his daily limit was about seventy shells.

However, if he was to go all out and make impact shells, judging by his current condition, it would probably be a limit to make five or six at a time, and not more than ten a day.

Of course, this is because he is still not very proficient at making them now. It takes him about ten minutes to make each shell, causing a lot of time, energy, and mental strength to be wasted. When his skills become more refined, increasing efficiency and output should not be a big problem.

After taking a short break, Li Wei once again started his work on making shells. He did not make too many, stopped after making three impact shells.

He was still planning to go out to hunt monsters today. If he made too many shells and exhausted himself, it would have an impact on his combat performance.

He specially prepared a magazine, stuffing three impact rounds into the top three slots.

After that, Li Wei took a short rest. Once it was almost time for his 9 a.m. appointment with Cai Yutong, he got up and went downstairs.

On the first floor, Li Wei unexpectedly saw many hunters, making the guild hall somewhat crowded.

This was unusual. Recently, the number of Four-Leaf Clover Guild's requests had become very few. Everyone was going out to hunt monsters while the regional hunting requests remained bustling. Only at night, when people basically came back to submit hunting proofs in exchange for points and rewards, would more people gather. Generally speaking, at this time in the morning, the guild hall should have been relatively quiet.

After scanning the crowd for a moment, Li Wei spotted Cai Yutong.

Besides this girl, Wells, Bandre, and Qian Long were also there.

Seeing Li Wei approaching, Cai Yutong was still waving to greet him. When he came closer, he only heard Cai Yutong say cheerfully, "Wells has unlocked his genetic code!"

"Oh?" Li Wei's gaze turned to Wells, the young man with blond hair who tilted his head to one side without making eye contact with Li Wei.

For Li Wei, this kid always felt awkward inside.

  "Congratulations," Li Wei said indifferently.

Wells is indeed a talented person. After being taught a lesson by Li Wei and with the death of Cui He, he finally realized something. Although he still had some mental knots, he made rapid progress after getting serious again.

Li Wei didn't have any other thoughts about him. What happened before had already passed in Li Wei's heart, and the dead Cui He had nothing to do with Li Wei.

Cai Yutong won't pursue the matter, and Wells has a solid background himself, so he should not have suffered any substantial punishment. As for Li Wei, he doesn't have a position to continue investigating further.

But he won't consider Wells a friend. If it weren't for Cai Yutong sometimes dragging him along, Li Wei wouldn't even team up with him.

Shifting the topic, Li Wei asked, "Why are there so many people gathered today?"

"I heard there's a big operation," Qian Long, on the side, grinned and said.

"Big operation? What big operation?" Li Wei's heart also became excited. A big operation signifies substantial benefits.
