Chapter 114 - Kiyoshi VS Kakashi

"This can only be known by going there." Minato smiled.

He neither expressed his own opinion nor denied Yūki's statement.

Sizzle!

The meat slices sizzled on the iron plate, and the aroma of barbecue filled the air.

Kiyoshi picked up a grilled slice, dipped it in chili sauce, and ate it.

Since this was a signature dish of a popular restaurant, the flavor was indeed good.

"Hiss, hiss…"

Hearing the white snake hiss urgently, Kiyoshi picked up two more slices of raw meat and fed them to the white snake.

Watching Kiyoshi feeding the white snake, Kurenai found Kiyoshi to be quite kindhearted.

As time passed, the atmosphere gradually became lively.

"I'm full, I'll go rest for a while."

Kakashi put down his chopsticks and went out. He preferred being alone.

"Kakashi…"

Rin looked over there.

Kiyoshi asked, "Has there been any progress recently in the Lightning Release you've been discussing with Kakashi?"

"No progress."

Rin paused in her action of picking up grilled meat and her eyes dimmed.

She said faintly, "I can't turn my normal chakra to Lightning chakra. I'm a bit behind Kakashi."

If a person only knows a lot of theory, it's just empty talk.

Creating a new technique requires countless experiments on top of theoretical knowledge.

"What are you talking about?"

Kurenai turned her head in confusion, her red eyes filled with curiosity.

Ever since she had seen Rin at Kiyoshi's house that day, Kurenai had been brooding over the matter, wanting to know the reason.

"Kakashi wants to create a new technique, and Rin wants to help him."

Kiyoshi told them about it as there was nothing to hide.

Almost every ninja has thought about creating their own ninjutsu.

As for whether they can do it, that's another question.

"It's good for young people to have ideas."

Minato drank a glass of water and said.

"However, developing a ninjutsu is not that simple. Take your time."

As someone who had been there, done that, he had spent three years developing the Rasengan and was very supportive of Kakashi creating ninjutsu.

"I'll go check on Kakashi."

Kiyoshi stood up and said.

Developing ninjutsu is very normal.

But who would know that Kakashi was silently developing the S-rank ninjutsu Raikiri?

Of course, at this stage, the technique is called Chidori.

Kiyoshi asked, "Kakashi, how is the development of the new technique going recently?"

"I have a bit of a clue."

Kakashi turned to look at Kiyoshi, who was walking over.

Developing a ninjutsu was still too difficult. Kakashi currently only had a bit of a clue.

He planned to stimulate his body with Lightning chakra, allowing the stimulated parts to exceed the usual limits of the chakra pathway system.

In this way, he can instantly gather a large amount of Lightning chakra, thereby producing a cutting-edge lightning strike.

However, whether the hand seal used for this technique should be one of the twelve basic hand seals or a self-created special hand seal was a question that needed to be considered.

And how to quickly mobilize Lightning chakra and keep it in the body for a longer period of time were all things that needed to be solved.

Developing a ninjutsu isn't accomplished overnight. It requires a lot of time and effort.

"Kiyoshi, you know a bit about Lightning Release, right? I heard Rin say that you taught her a lot of things." Kakashi asked.

Kiyoshi replied, "I do know a little."

Kakashi asked, "Are you up for a spar?"

Kiyoshi said, "It's not very convenient here. How about going somewhere else?"

Kiyoshi looked at Kakashi. He had been letting Kakashi develop for a while.

Kakashi should have gotten stronger. Let's see if he can acquire new traits.

"Okay."

Kakashi didn't hesitate and directly agreed to Kiyoshi's suggestion.

Among his peers, only Kiyoshi could keep up with him. Others were also improving, but too slowly.

Moreover, many of his peers did not share Kakashi's areas of expertise. Only Kiyoshi was very similar to him.

Both were skilled in swordsmanship, and their fighting styles were both steady.

There was a rooftop above the barbecue restaurant.

The two quickly jumped out of the window, using chakra to generate suction on the soles of their feet, and walked up the wall.

"Kiyoshi and Kakashi are going to spar?"

Rin had been paying attention to the situation after seeing Kiyoshi go to Kakashi.

She vaguely heard Kakashi and Kiyoshi say they were going up to spar.

Seeing the two suddenly leave, she was puzzled.

"Rin, eat quickly. Don't worry about whether Kakashi and Kiyoshi are sparring, it's boring."

Obito was busy picking up the grilled meat pieces while urging Rin.

Now that those two troublesome people were finally gone, he had to cherish the time with Rin.

"Let's go take a look."

Minato said.

He was very curious about Kiyoshi.

It was not too surprising for an Uchiha clansman to have elite strength.

But if an Uchiha had a pure Will of Fire, that would be a rare thing.

It's not that the Uchiha don't have the spirit of the Will of Fire.

But unfortunately, because of their arrogance and stubbornness, it had become the Uchiha-style Will of Fire.

Minato wanted to become the next Hokage, and Sarutobi Hiruzen had reminded him that he needed to build a team of his own first to stand a chance.

Originally, Minato only planned to train Obito.

After all, too much contact with the Uchiha would make the higher-ups and some other ninja clans who held the village's important economy dissatisfied.

But Kiyoshi was different. He had received Sarutobi Hiruzen's attention.

So Minato wanted to see what kind of person Kiyoshi was.

"What's so good about watching this?" Yūki frowned.

As the leader of the team, he naturally could not be absent from the Chunin Exams. He had seen Kiyoshi's performance throughout.

Seeing Kiyoshi's performance firsthand made him feel uncomfortable.

Why could an Uchiha become so strong after just awakening their Kekkei genkai?

And he a normal person has to work twice as hard as them and he still won't be able to catch up.

The world created by the Sage of Six Paths is unfair.

As the Second Hokage had said, the Uchiha were an evil clan, and they were all arrogant.

"Then I'll go."

Minato showed a polite smile and followed.

"I… I'll go too."

Kurenai put down her plate and went out with small steps.

Rin also hurriedly said she wanted to go. The two young girls followed Minato together.

Now only Yūki, Asuma, and Obito were left at the table. They looked at each other.

"Cough, then I'll go too."

Asuma couldn't sit still and didn't want to let Kurenai and Kiyoshi be together.

"Wait for me."

Obito also coughed, despising Asuma's simping behavior, without mentioning that he had just said it was boring.

"Then let's go."

Asuma said.

He was different from little simps like Obito.

He and Kurenai were proper childhood sweethearts.

It was just that after Kiyoshi had come, there was a bit of a change.

So in less than a while, only Yūki was left alone at the table.

"Why is everyone paying attention to this Uchiha?"

This made Yūki burn with jealousy, but there was nothing he could do.

On the rooftop, the evening breeze made Kiyoshi's robe flutter.

Kiyoshi liked to travel light, only wearing a chain mail inside as protection.
