Ikki looked at Garp with a grin. "If Mr. Garp insists, then I won't hold back!"
Hearing this, Garp let out a hearty laugh. "Don't worry! My core strength is top-notch now! That little thing of yours won't be able to knock me down anymore!"
"Alright! Then take this!"
Without hesitation, Ikki summoned the wrestler and immediately deposited 30 million—enough to wrestle Garp twenty times right off the bat.
The wrestler looked at Garp and sighed.
"I gotta ask… why do you always throw him down whenever we do business?"
Ikki shrugged. "Beats me."
Garp, on the other hand, was thrilled. He had been waiting for this moment for years.
Because of his wrestling obsession, Garp was even stronger than in the original timeline. Not only had he single-handedly defeated the Golden Lion, but even against Rocks—whom he had originally taken down alongside Roger—he now believed he could have won alone.
Of course, the main reason he had teamed up with Roger back then was that Rocks' crew had too many powerful fighters...
With the payment settled, the wrestler sprang into action.
Garp braced himself. His entire body was coated in Armament Haki, his stance widened, and his muscles tensed as he channeled strength into his waist, legs, and core.
For a moment, it almost seemed like his body had expanded slightly, sinking a few centimeters into the ground.
Seeing this, the Marines erupted into cheers.
"Let's go, Vice Admiral Garp!"
"Vice Admiral Garp is the strongest Marine!"
"By the way… who's that tiny guy? Why is Garp even challenging him?"
"Tch… doesn't matter! No one can beat Vice Admiral Garp anyway!"
It was safe to say the Marines had absolute confidence in Garp.
But the wrestler? The moment he grabbed hold of Garp, he realized—This is a loss again.
Why? Because Garp had gotten even stronger since the last time! At this rate, the wrestler would have to demand at least two million more just to break even!
Still, business was business. The money had been paid, and the match had to be completed.
BOOM!
With a perfect over-the-shoulder throw, the wrestler slammed Garp into the cement floor.
The impact left a massive crater, and spiderweb-like cracks spread across the entire port.
The surrounding Marines stared, dumbfounded.
Garp himself was just as shocked. He still couldn't stop this thing from throwing him to the ground...
Not one to back down, Garp got up again.
BOOM!
And was immediately thrown down again.
As Garp continued to get tossed around, Ace walked over to Ikki and smirked.
"Hey, those Marines over there... how about we put on a show for them too?"
"What kind of show? The audience is gone—who's left to watch?"
Just as Ikki finished speaking, Kakashi and Rogers ran over.
"All the men in black have been dealt with! Not a single pregnant woman was harmed on Baterilla Island," Rogers reported directly to Ikki.
"Nice!" Ikki nodded in satisfaction. Then, as if nothing had happened, he pulled out a small cart loaded with beer, soft drinks, mineral water, peanuts, melon seeds, and Eight-Treasure Porridge.
"Anyone hungry?" Ikki grinned, pointing to the cart.
Without hesitation, Kakashi grabbed a bag of melon seeds, while Rogers took a beer and started drinking with Ace.
Once they were set, Ikki pushed the cart toward the Marines.
"Beer, drinks, mineral water, peanuts, melon seeds, Eight-Treasure Porridge... Anyone want a snack while watching the show?"
The Marines, still in shock from watching their mighty Vice Admiral Garp get slammed into the ground over and over again, instinctively grabbed drinks and snacks to settle their nerves. Of course, as righteous Marines, they made sure to pay properly.
At that moment, the port had become a truly bizarre scene.
A group of Marines sat around, cracking melon seeds, sipping beer, and laughing as they watched Garp repeatedly get thrown to the ground.
Meanwhile, Ikki had set up a high-definition camera to capture everything.
The festivities continued until the wrestler completed all twenty throws.
Yet, despite this brutal display, Garp refused to give up his dream of victory. Instead, he swore to train even harder, vowing that next time, he wouldn't fall.
Of course, Garp's definition of victory was simply not getting thrown down.
After all, the wrestler didn't deal much damage—his only ability was throwing people down in different ways. Given Garp's absurd endurance, twenty slams—or even two hundred—weren't enough to truly hurt him.
With the wrestling session over, Garp turned his gaze toward his men.
His men… who were still drinking beer, eating snacks, and laughing at his humiliation.
His smile faded.
"It looks like you lot are slacking on your training!" Garp declared loudly. "Alright! When we get back, everyone is running 100 kilometers! And no meals until you finish!"
Chaos erupted among the Marines.
They had enjoyed the show—now they were paying the price.
With justice restored among his men, Garp approached Ikki, Ace, Rogers, and Kakashi.
Then, much to their surprise, he raised his hand in a Marine salute.
"Thank you..."
Garp didn't say much, but Ikki understood exactly what he meant.
If they hadn't intervened, Garp's men—who had dedicated their lives to protecting the innocent—might have lost all faith in their own justice. Some might have even left the Marines altogether, unable to bear the guilt of standing by while civilians were harmed.
In the end, Garp and his Marines stayed on Baterilla Island for another day.
He wrote up his mission report and handed it off to his adjutant, deciding that he would remain on the island a bit longer—both as a vacation for himself and to witness the birth of Roger's child.
When Garp finally went to see Rouge, she was already fifteen months pregnant, having endured unimaginable suffering to protect her unborn child.
Naturally, she was tense when she saw Garp. She feared he had come to finish what the CP agents had failed to do—to erase Roger's bloodline.
It wasn't until Garp reassured her—telling her he had come on Roger's behalf and sharing details only Roger and she would know—that she finally began to trust him.
Garp knew that although they had defeated the first wave of CP agents, more would come.
His solution?
Rouge needed to give birth immediately. Then, he would take her and the child away from Baterilla Island, ensuring their safety under new identities.
More than that—Rouge had already carried the child five months longer than normal. If this continued, both she and the baby would be in serious danger.
With Garp's help, Rouge and her child could start a new life elsewhere.
But if he did this… Ikki and Ace's plans would completely fall apart.
