"Very good!"
Garp tossed aside the empty senbei bag, stood up, and cracked his knuckles.
"Alright, boy! Come at me—I won't hold back!"
Hearing this, Ikki quickly raised a hand.
'"Wait… we're not ready yet!"
Garp frowned, clearly getting impatient.
Seeing this, Ikki swiftly pulled out more snacks—senbei, small cakes, shrimp crackers, potato chips, and a variety of other treats.
As soon as Garp saw the pile of food, his expression changed.
"Alright! Fine! I'll give you a little more time."
With that, he grabbed as many snacks as he could hold and started munching.
"Hey, you bastard, Garp! How can you eat all that by yourself?!"
Sengoku, not wanting to be left out, rushed over and started stealing snacks from Garp.
Standing nearby, Tsuru silently observed the scene, shifting her attention toward Ikki.
How does this boy know Garp so well?
Even though Garp was still young, his reputation was already immense. Both he and Sengoku were candidates to become admirals—just waiting for a vacancy to step into the role.
Most Marines viewed them through a lens of respect and admiration. But only a handful of people—their friends—truly understood their personalities.
Yet Ikki, a complete outsider, had manipulated them so easily with snacks.
'Interesting… once this fight is over, I am definitely taking off those masks.'
Meanwhile…
Ace, watching Ikki deliberately stalling, grew curious.
"I don't get it, Ikki. If you want to fight, just fight. What's with the delay?"
Ikki, staring blankly ahead, muttered, "Just shut up and wait!"
At this moment, Ikki was deep in his own world, making gold draws like his life depended on it.
If he was about to fight Garp, he needed every possible advantage.
Using all the Justice Points he had earned from Alabasta, Ikki prayed for some useful items.
Then—
Ding!
[Gold-Level Item Acquired: Fire Dragon Slayer Magic Crystal]
A magic crystal from the Fairy Tail world. Upon use, grants the ability to wield Fire Dragon Slayer Magic.
(Note: The magic has been modified to fit the One Piece world's system.)
[Gold-Level Item Acquired: Liandry's Torment]
Dealing ability damage burns enemies, causing them to take 2% of the target's maximum health magic damage every 1 seconds over 3 seconds, capped at 40 per seconds against monsters.
[Gold-Level Item Acquired: Dodge Cloak]
A gadget from Doraemon's world. Grants the ability to automatically dodge all frontal attacks.
(Note: Cannot dodge attacks from behind or blind spots.)
[Gold-Level Item Acquired: Wrestling Killer]
A wrestling prop from Doraemon's world. Pay a certain amount of money, and he will beat the crap out of your enemy.
(Note: The stronger the opponent, the higher the cost.)
[Gold-Level Item Acquired: Captain America]
A gold-level summon from the Marvel universe. Summons Captain America to fight for you.
(Note: Yes, you get America's ass.)
[Gold-Level Character Acquired: Hatake Kakashi]
A legendary ninja from the world of Naruto. Upon use, you can summon Hatake Kakashi.
(Note: Despite his name meaning "Scarecrow," don't expect him to be a literal shield.)
Ikki barely had time to process his ridiculous luck when—
Crunch. Crunch. Gulp.
Garp and Sengoku had already devoured all the snacks.
"Oi, kid," Garp said, casually picking his nose as he walked up. "You've been standing there spacing out. Quit stalling and hurry up and fight me—I still gotta go home and beat my son!"
Ikki ignored him and, without hesitation, pulled out another huge pile of snacks.
The message was clear—buy more time.
But this time… it wasn't Garp who grabbed them.
It was Tsuru.
She snatched the snacks away. "Enough of that. These are mine now."
Without another word, she opened a box of strawberry cake, took a bite, and let the sweetness melt in her mouth.
For a brief moment, her usually stoic expression softened.
Ikki watched carefully.
Yeah… I can't stall anymore.
But two power-ups per person should be enough.
He turned to Ace and handed him a mask and a crystal.
"Ace, absorb this crystal and put on the mask. Then go all out against Sengoku!"
Ace, already used to Ikki's weird items, didn't hesitate. He removed his old mask and put on the strange-looking Liandry's Torment mask instead.
As soon as it settled on his face, he felt the difference immediately—his stamina surged, and the heat of his flames intensified.
He picked up the Fire Dragon Slayer Magic Crystal and asked, "How do I use this?"
"Just focus on absorbing it," Ikki explained.
Truthfully, Ikki wanted the Fire Dragon Slayer Magic himself—it was, after all, the magic of Fairy Tail's protagonist.
But since he had already absorbed Sky Dragon Slayer Magic, it made more sense to give the fire-based one to Ace.
Ace gripped the crystal and closed his eyes as it merged with him.
Moments later, when he reopened them, there was a new fire burning within—a confidence that hadn't been there before.
"Thanks, Ikki. I feel stronger."
Ikki smirked. "Don't get cocky, flame boy."
Ace just grinned in response.
With Ace powered up, Ikki focused on his own tools.
He threw on the Dodge Cloak—an item that would let him automatically evade all frontal attacks.
Next, he summoned the Wrestler Killer.
Pointing at Garp, he asked, "How much to wrestle him?"
The Wrestler glanced at Garp and silently raised one finger.
"Oh? Ten beri?"
The Wrestler shook his head.
"One hundred?"
Still no.
"One thousand?"
"No?"
"Ten thousand?"
"Don't tell me… one hundred thousand?!"
The Wrestler shook his head.
"Wait…A MILLION?"
The Wrestler nodded.
Ikki froze.
In Doraemon's world, hiring a Wrestler to beat up Gian cost just ten yen.
But here?
One million beri?!
…Actually, that wasn't too bad for Ikki.
Without hesitation, he pulled out ten million and handed it over.
"Listen, Wrestler, after you throw him down once… throw him down again."
The Wrestler nodded, took the money, and casually sat down to wait for the perfect moment.
