Peerage : Grayfia Lucifuge (Queen)

As Sirzechs continued to grow beyond the limits of a Super Devil, it became increasingly clear that what he was undergoing could no longer be called mere growth.

It was evolution.

Through relentless refinement, countless battles, and absolute mastery over his own Powers, his race itself had changed. This was no mutation or borrowed power. It was the natural ascension of his existence, an evolution born from reaching a realm no Devil was ever meant to touch.

With that evolution came profound inherent traits.

The Power of Destruction, once feared as the ultimate Devil ability, had transformed into something far closer to a divine authority. It no longer functioned as simple annihilation. His will alone could erase existence at will, taking body and soul alike into oblivion. Those erased by his power did not reincarnate. Their souls were simply… gone.

His regeneration evolved alongside it.

It was no longer reactive, but absolute. Damage ceased to be meaningful. As long as his soul remained intact, his body restored itself instantaneously, regardless of scale. This evolution granted him a form of true material immortality—not stagnation, but eternal continuity. Time, decay, and physical destruction lost their relevance to him.

His physical body, too, transcended mortal understanding.

Forged into a cosmic-grade physique, it no longer relied on magic for survival. He could exist freely in the vacuum of space, endure stellar pressures, and move unhindered between worlds. A single casual strike carried enough force to shatter tectonic plates, crack continents, or deform the planet's crust itself. If he wished, worlds could be broken with nothing but his fists.

Even his senses evolved.

What he gained was something akin to God-View Vision—a transcendent perception that observed reality from a higher vantage point. From the skies above to the depths below, nothing escaped his awareness. Dimensions overlapped clearly in his sight, layers of reality laid bare. Barriers, concealment, illusions—none could hide anything from him unless he allowed them to.

He was no longer merely the strongest Devil.

He was becoming something else entirely—

a being standing on the boundary between demon, primordial, and godhood.

Along with his evolution came access to a higher form of energy—one that stood above demonic power, mana, or even most divine energies.

Aether.

Unlike conventional energies, Aether did not merely increase quantity. It refined quality. Any form of power it touched—demonic, magical, spiritual—was purified, condensed, and elevated to a higher state. Spells cast with Aether became more stable and vastly more destructive. Bodies nourished by it recovered faster, healed deeper, and grew stronger with every cycle.

Aether was not volatile.

It was perfectly obedient.

It flowed as naturally as breath through Sirzechs' evolved existence, produced endlessly by his Primordial nature. Where demonic energy burned and raged, Aether harmonized. Where divine energy demanded faith, Aether required only understanding.

Using this energy, Sirzechs accomplished what would have been considered impossible.

He elevated Grayfia Lucifuge into a Satan-class Devil, not through artificial forcing or external rituals, but by reforging her foundation itself. Her demonic core was bathed in Aether, her energy refined, her limits rewritten. The transformation was stable, permanent, and flawless.

He did the same for his mother.

By carefully guiding Aether through her body, strengthening her soul and essence without overloading it, he ensured her growth remained natural yet irreversible. The result was not merely increased power, but a more complete, resilient existence—one that would continue to ascend over time.

Aether became the cornerstone of his long-term plans.

It was also the reason his growth never stagnated.

Beyond raw power, Sirzechs pursued mastery.

He trained relentlessly in combat—both bare-handed and with weapons—until movement itself became instinct. Every strike was optimized, every motion stripped of waste. Blades, spears, polearms, chains—no weapon felt foreign in his hands. Combined with his Combat Mastery, his fighting style became adaptable to any opponent, any battlefield.

Runes were no exception.

Under the guidance of a certain god killer—a being who had survived slaying deities and walking away from divine retribution—Sirzechs learned runecraft at its highest level. These were not simple inscriptions, but laws carved into reality itself. Runes that reinforced space, suppressed concepts, anchored souls, or enhanced destruction beyond natural limits.

That teacher had shown him how gods bled.

How divine authorities could be broken.

How immortality could be ended.

Sirzechs had not met her in some time.

He thought to meet her soon.

---

All in all, he had reached the absolute peak of what his race could offer.

At this point, Sirzechs was the strongest being a Devil could ever become.

He had a strong feeling that even Great Red and Ophis were, at best, only his equals—if not outright weaker than him.

If he wished to grow any further, there was only one path left.

He would have to change his race.

And he already had plans for that.

But that was a matter for another time.

---

Several days passed as Sirzechs wrapped up the affairs that demanded his attention. Orders were given, contingencies prepared, and arrangements made in silence. Everything was set, for he had a journey to undertake—

A journey to the Greek Underworld… Hell.

As for his purpose there—

It was to rescue Lilith, the Mother of all Devils.

She had been captured long ago by Hades, the God of Death, and was now being used for experiments—her essence exploited to create artificial Devil soldiers.

First, it had been Lucifer who defiled her existence.

And after she was freed from him, it was Hades who continued the same sins.

Sirzechs was fully prepared to wipe out gods, or even erase the entire Greek pantheon, if that was what it took to free her. To him, they were nothing more than nuisances—beings far too weak to stop him.

Still, such an action would plunge the world into chaos and shatter the delicate balance that had been established over countless eras.

In the past, that balance had restrained him.

But now—

He no longer feared anyone.

With his current power, he could do as he pleased.

A so-called God of Death was not something capable of stopping him.

---

After everything was prepared, Sirzechs bid farewell to his family. There were no long speeches—only quiet understanding and unwavering trust.

Then, standing alone, he raised his hand and tore open space itself.

A rift formed.

Without hesitation, he stepped into it.

Traveling through the dimensional rift, he crossed vast stretches of the Underworld, the oppressive darkness and ancient deathly aura doing nothing to slow him down.

His destination lay ahead.

And soon—

The Greek Underworld would learn what it meant to provoke a Primordial of Destruction.
