Chapter 71 - Chapter 71 Nice to meet you

Then, Nick Fury also handed a copy to Tony.

Although he already had some guesses in his mind, Finney still took the document and took a look. Sure enough, it was written on the cover: "Preliminary Report of the Avengers".

"The universe is infinite, but what we know is limited."

Nick Fury said in a cold tone: "You don't think you are the only superheroes, right? In fact, there are many people like you."

  "Tsk!"

Finney smacked his lips in disdain. When it comes to understanding superheroes, he is the one who has the most say.

After taking a general look at the plan, it can be simply said that they are inviting them to join the Avengers, an organization that is not subject to anyone's jurisdiction and only needs to stand up to protect the earth when it is invaded.

"I don't quite understand what it means."

Tony, who was standing by, read it faster: "What do you mean by Iron Man recommends, Tony Stark doesn't recommend!?"

"This is Agent Romanoff's evaluation of you."

Nick Fury turned his head and looked at Tony, saying, "So I assigned you a consultant role."

  "Sorry, you can't afford me."

Tony snapped the plan shut and replied unhappily.

Because of Finney's intervention, Tony had less contact with SHIELD, so he didn't have much idea about the Avengers at this time.

Finney also closed the report and thought about this problem. In his heart, he didn't want to join the Avengers, after all, he was now a mystic wizard.

And joining the Avengers might cause a lot of trouble, and he might face problems such as standing in a team in the future.

But if he joined, he could get a lot of benefits, such as the 'Obelisk' he had been thinking about, and he didn't have to worry about being investigated for his identity.

So in the end, he chose a more compromised plan.

"Three things, one question, one condition, and one item. If you agree, I will help you three times, and Tony will become a consultant."

"I don't plan to become a consultant for this super group."

Tony interrupted, but Finny and Nick ignored him.

"You can talk about it first."

Nick didn't ask why he didn't join directly, but asked for the conditions first. He was not afraid of Finny's request, but he was afraid that Finny would not ask. No matter how big the difficulties were, they could be overcome as long as they existed.

"I want to find the orange cat, the one you have in mind. Then my identity cannot be recorded in any way in SHIELD. I can only tell you one person, and no one else can tell it without my consent. Finally, I need a silver obelisk. It is of no use to you, and you can't use it."

When Nick Fury heard Finny talking about the orange cat, a huge wave of emotion surged in his heart. Only a few people knew about that incident, and all the records were destroyed. He didn't understand how Finny knew it.

Especially the identity of the cat, it can be said that no one on earth should know it.

  "Is she back?"

This was Nick's first thought, but he felt it was impossible. She had been away for so many years. If she returned to Earth, she should have contacted him as soon as possible.

"I can temporarily promise you the last two, but you must tell me, how did you know about the cat?"

Nick stared at Finny and asked. This question was of vital importance to him.

"I know a lot of things, such as your friend who once lost his memory and the pager." Finny replied calmly.

Of course, Finny couldn't tell Nick how he knew it. Even the Ancient One probably didn't know why he could know the future. This was one of his biggest secrets.

With the mask blocking the view, Nick couldn't see any of Finny's eyes and expressions, but in his heart, his fear of Finny suddenly rose to the highest level.

"Just treat it as a bonus condition. If you encounter any difficult problems in the future, you can ask me first."

Finny thought for a while and added. Anyway, he didn't guarantee that he would answer, so he didn't say what he didn't want to say at that time.

Nick Fury was silent for a long time, and finally agreed to Finney's conditions, while bargaining:

"Okay, but I don't know where the cat is now. I won't record your identity, nor will I tell anyone. But I have to check the item you mentioned before I can determine whether I can give it to you, and I need to know what you are going to use it for."

  "You don't know?"

Finney was surprised. Before he could think whether it was true or false, he rolled his eyes when he heard Nick's request: "Do you want me to take you with me when I use it?"

  "Is it dangerous?"

  Nick Fury took it seriously.

"You really plan to go!" Finney said unhappily: "This thing is useless to normal people, and don't worry, it won't harm the earth anyway."

Nick Fury certainly wouldn't believe it, but the most important thing now is to find out Finney's identity and stabilize this "danger". Besides, the thing is still with him, and it's up to him to decide whether to give it or not.

"Okay, I agree to your request."

Nick Fury, who had a plan in mind, agreed to all of Finney's conditions, and then said: "So, who are you?"

Tony, who had been listening on the side, frowned slightly, but still didn't say anything. He felt that the black-salted egg in front of him was not simple, and it must not be a good thing to compromise so easily.

"Swear first, and I'll tell you."

Finney certainly wouldn't believe Nick Fury so easily. This guy is the head of the secret service. It's better to believe that a sow can climb a tree than to believe him.

  "Swear?"

  Nick was stunned.

"Yes, make a vow that if you don't comply with the conditions, your whole body will fester and your heart will stop and you will die." Finney said calmly. He planned to use the "Golden Great Evolution" to scare Nick Fury.

  "Has he made one before?"

Nick turned his head to look at Tony, but he was thinking in his heart whether it would be a problem if he made such a vow.

Tony turned his head and didn't answer. He was curious about the next development. Moreover, Finney always revealed a mystery from beginning to end. In fact, he was also wondering whether this oath would be effective.

  "Just make yours."

Finney replied, and then calmed down and focused his mind.

Nick hesitated. He didn't know whether he should make this oath. He had already said what he promised before. If he regretted it now, it would obviously mean that he didn't intend to abide by it.

And he could also use this to learn more about Finney.

Nick was able to become the director. In addition to the promotion of Hydra, he himself did have a style of doing things unconventionally. He wanted to give it a try.

"I swear, if you don't abide by the conditions I said, your whole body will fester, your heart will stop and you will die."

  "OK! The contract is established!"

Finny snapped his fingers and summoned the basic magic circle of Kamar-Taj, letting it flash and disperse in the air, and then he showed a satisfied look.

Tony and Nick's faces changed slightly.

"Your oath has been established, you must abide by it, otherwise be careful of the consequences."

Finny removed the "evil ghost" and returned to his normal appearance, smiling at Nick: "Nice to meet you, Mr. Nick Fury."

But Nick couldn't be happy now!

He seemed to have underestimated Finny's ability. Fortunately, he left a loophole when he swore. First, he didn't say in whose name he swore, and then it was based on the conditions he said.

Unfortunately, he didn't know that Finny didn't know any contracts at all. It didn't matter if he swore in the name of the black man. Finny just needed him to tell him the consequences.

Because the next second when Nick was thinking, his heart suddenly felt a pain, and he couldn't help but cover his chest.
