Chapter 51 - Chapter 51 Exchange

Finny didn't leave in the end. He just wanted to tease Tony. He also wanted to know what Tony wanted to ask him.

Holding the tea made by Pepper in his hand, Finny looked at Tony who looked uncomfortable. He didn't ask and tasted it leisurely. The atmosphere was quiet and leisurely.

"Okay, if you have anything to say, just talk to Finny."

Pepper couldn't stand it anymore and urged Tony. She was just asked by Tony to call Finny over. She didn't know what it was.

"It's just some small problems. It's okay. By the way, didn't you just say that the company still has a lot of things to deal with? Why don't you go back first!"

Tony looked at Pepper and didn't ask. Instead, he asked her to leave.

Hearing this, Pepper was immediately angry. Was he using her as a tool to make a phone call? After the Iron Monger incident, the relationship between the two quickly heated up and their identities changed directly to become boyfriend and girlfriend.

Someone once asked, what is the difference between an angry girlfriend and a terrorist.

Terrorists can at least negotiate, right!

Pepper was so angry that she picked up her handbag and glared at Tony. She was about to leave. Before she left, she said to Finny, "Finny, I'm sorry to ask you to come here. I'll treat you to dinner next time."

  "It's okay."

Finny smiled and looked at Tony with interest. He seemed to understand what he wanted to say.

After Pepper left, the room became quiet again. After a few minutes of silence, Tony finally said, "I tested all known combinations of elements."

  "All!"

Tony's face flashed with reluctance, and he continued in a deep voice, "But I still can't find a replacement."

  "I know!"

Finny looked like he was not surprised. It would be surprising if Tony could really find a replacement.

When Tony deliberately drove Pepper away just now, he guessed that he might be talking about this matter.

"I only have a few months left."

Tony lifted his clothes, revealing the thin black blood vessels around the small arc reactor, which looked a little scary: "Tell me, what should I do!"

If there was no other way, Tony really didn't want to ask Finny for help. The relationship between the two of them was very strange. Although they had experienced life and death together, well, mainly because he almost died, their relationship was not that good.

And he had always been asking Finny for things, and he had never returned them, which made the proud Tony very uncomfortable.

Looking at Tony's chest, Finny hesitated, not knowing whether he should tell Tony that his father had studied new elements.

In fact, if you think about it carefully, it doesn't seem to matter if you tell Tony. After all, this matter will only make Tony experience the feeling of despair and owe a favor to SHIELD.

But because of his participation, this feeling of despair didn't seem to exist from the beginning. Instead, the oppressive feeling of the countdown of life made Tony experience it deeply.

As for the favor of the one-eyed bald director...

Finny looked at Tony and said, "I think you must have some misunderstandings about your father!"

  "What?"

Tony was stunned for a moment. He asked about the solution, and Finny's answer was obviously irrelevant.

"You said you tried all the combinations of elements, but that's not necessarily true." Finny finally decided to tell Tony. In addition to considering asking Tony to develop a new type of armor as soon as possible, he also wanted him to try something else. He didn't want him to be dragged down by this matter anymore.

  "What do you mean?"

Tony frowned and asked. He didn't think that his knowledge level was not enough and he missed some elements.

"Some of your father's relics are in S.H.I.E.L.D. He almost developed a new element, but was limited by the times at that time and left it to you." Finny looked at Tony, who was a little stunned, and said.

"Are you saying that my father developed a new element? The information is still in S.H.I.E.L.D.? Why?"

Tony's eyes revealed a hint of confusion.

"Actually, I shouldn't be the one to tell you this." Finney looked at Tony helplessly and explained, "The information has always been with you. What SHIELD has is at most some clues for you to discover."

"Why are the clues found in SHIELD?"

  Tony couldn't figure it out.

"Because your father is one of its founders. When he died unexpectedly, he probably wasn't ready to hand him over to you."

"Wait, you said my father is the founder of this organization?" Tony's expression became more and more surprised: "I never knew such a thing. He is also an agent?"

"Don't be so surprised, there are many things you don't know!"

Finney's comfort obviously didn't have a good effect. Looking at Tony with a dark face, he continued, "So I said you must have some misunderstandings about your father."

"You mean that new element can replace palladium!?"

Tony brought the topic back to the point. What he needed was a solution.

"Well, your small Ark reactor comes from the big one in your house. The big one was originally the unfinished technology of your father, so the new element can replace it."

  "I didn't expect that I still can't surpass him."

Tony laughed at himself, looked at Finny with a slightly complicated look, and muttered: "Although it was essentially my father who helped me solve the problem, I still want to thank you for telling me."

"Actually, I also have a few things I want you to help with."

Upon hearing this, Tony immediately became energetic, looked up at Finny and said, "Tell me about it."

"After you build a new armor, I will help you test its combat effectiveness." Finny hopes to put the Iron Man experience baby on the schedule. The reason why he didn't mention it before was because Tony had too many troubles during this period, and also because of the problem of palladium poisoning, excessive use of armor will make the situation worse.

  "Sure!"

Tony agreed without hesitation, and also taunted: "Don't go home crying to your mother if you lose!"

After raising an international universal hand gesture, Finney continued: "Also, I need a relatively important thing from SHIELD, but I can't get it for the time being. I hope you can help me think of a way."

  "What is it?"

Tony's face became serious. Although Finney was barely a friend, he couldn't help without asking questions.

"It's an alien technology item, for specific people to use."

Finney explained: "This thing is very dangerous to earthlings. Normal people may die if they touch it. Only those who meet special requirements can be safe."

  "Alien technology?"

Tony's desire to study came up, especially this kind of strange thing.

"As long as you can get it and don't damage it, you can study it." Finney was actually worried about whether there would be any hidden dangers in this thing, so it would be okay to let Tony study it.

"That thing is a silver obelisk this big." Finney gestured with his hands and said, "Because it once caused the death of a person, it seems to be very important."

  "I'll try."

Tony didn't agree to this question directly. After all, it was S.H.I.E.L.D.'s thing, and he was not sure whether he could get it.
