Chapter – 5 "On Top"

Panel 1
Both rush at each other, bright light shines behind them as remnants of mana leave them
Panel 2
Atom tried to hit him but daniel ducks his hat being grazed
Panel 3
Daniel punches Atom in the stomach. Atom gags in pain, the punch causing a shockwave behind them.
Panel 4
Atom jumps high in the air to avoid any other attack, Daniel nowhere to be seen on the ground
Atom: "where did he go, i took my eye off him for only a second"
Panel 5
Atom snaps his head back to see Daniel ready to spike him to the ground.

Panel 1
Large chunks of ruble are kicked in the air as a crater is formed from the impact.
Panel 2
Atom quickly gets out of the crater, his body shaking.
Atom: "Im shaking, that hurts, i feel like i need to throw up, but if i do i will lose, and i'm not sure what he will do if i do give up now."
Panel 3
Daniel laughs at Atom
Daniel: "wow i won't even have to use my property at this rate."
Panel 4
Atom calms down, slowly he stops shaking.
Panel 5
He gets back into a fighting pose (one that he saw on Tv). His hands glowing again along with his eyes
Atom: "Thanks for the quick pause"

Panel 1
Daniel puts his hands behind him. His hands glowing behind him.
Daniel: "No problem, it's more fun when I get the full strength of an opponent."
Panel 2
A beam of green light shoot out of his hands heading straight at Atom
Panel 3
Atom tries getting out of the way but his right arm is blasted, he whines in pain.
Panel 4
Atom down looks at his arm, it shakes, not from a burn but a rash.
Atom: "A rash? It definitely hurts but, it only took off a small layer of skin, the only reason it doesn't hurt is adrenaline, it's also not my color, his mana color is green, mine is white. He did say mine has a lightning property, so he must have one too. What would give me a rash and burn me."

Panel 1
Another smaller beam almost hit Atom, this one is less refined, and has a smell this time.
Atom: "it smells like poison ivy, but that wouldn't burn me just give me a bad rash, which i do have, so the burn comes from something else, i don't smell anything else just the poison ivy, so mana must be the X factor that burnt me."
Panel 2
Atom charges at Daniel his burnt hand glowing
Atom: "hey i figured you out, using natural plants is smart i won't lie. But thats all you can do"
Panel 3
Daniel is astonished he lost focus on the fight
Daniel: (thought) "what the hell, he got that from 2 attacks. Shit i should have put more mana behind that first blast."
Panel 4
Daniel blocks his head from the incoming hit.
Daniel: "You're a smart kid but fighting isn't your strong…
Panel 5
Atom kicks Daniel in the chin
Atom: "shut the hell up, just fight me dumbass."

Panel 1
Daniel hand lights and another blast of poison ivy.
Atom: "no property my ass. You were bluffing hoping I was dumb enough not to know."
Panel 2
Daniel: "I thought you were the one that said shut up"
Panel 3
Daniel shoots a blast of green mama from his hand, more than before but being spread out it doesn't do much
Panel 4
Atom shoots out the blasts and grabs Daniel's shirt, his other hand raised and glowing with a bright light
Atom: "your getting desperate"
Panel 5
Atom repeatedly smashes his fist in his face causing it to bleed
Atom: "YOUR NOT GOOD AT DRAWN OUT FIGHTS ARE YOU"

Daniel punches atom in the face cause if him to stop for a moment
Daniel: "JUST SHUT THE HELL UP"
Panel 2
Daniel's nose is broken but he's only focused on atom, his left hand glowing bright green
Panel 3
Atom tries blocking but there is so much forces it does nothing as he's sent across the street and into a building
Panel 4
Daniel is breathing heavily holding his hand
Daniel: "is he dead or atleast knocked out"
Panel 5
Daniel has a sharp pain in his hand looking down it's obvious it's now broken
Daniel: with a slight laugh "don't remember the last time I fought someone and over used mama, I went over board"

Panel 1
By now a crowd has grown, some recognized Daniel, original atom thought he was just some old thug, actually, Daniel was a clan boss in the old days, deaths caused by him and his men reached the hundreds in their prime, after a raid of their compound 50 of the 200 men escaped, every one went into hiding and only 10 were captured after.
Panel 2
Daniel starts leaving if he stays he would be caught by a bounty hunter soon, but before he could, a glow comes from the hole atom was punched into
Panel 3
Atom walks out his right arm burned and broken, his shirt is burned and is about to fall off, his headband still firm on his head
Atom: "mana is confusing, I haven't had enough time to research it, but
Panel 4
Atom is staring at the floor mumbling, his shirt gives in and falls off, as he walks out the rubble
Atom: "it seems like the human body wasn't made for it, it breaks bones and tears muscle fibers when used at max, regulating it isn't hard for enhancing but for blasts it seems like it needs to be charged before another can fire"
Panel 5
Daniel is in shock, the state atom is in his legs should have given out but he stands dispute that
Daniel: "JUST DIE GOD DAMMIT"
Daniel prepares his right unbroken hand for one final blast

Panel 1
Atom is still mumbling not minding Daniel
Atom: "but at least form enhancement I can predict that it's just because mama isn't stored in the body only created, meaning it takes time to make more so if you could store it, larger blasts and stronger punches could be possible"
Panel 2
The preparation are finally done as a blast from Daniel shoots out at atom to fast for him to reacts
Panel 3
Daniel is struggling to keep up the blast, his arm aches visibly as muscle fibers rip and small cracks in his bones show
Panel 4
Daniel stops his blast kneeling to the ground both his arms falling to the side
Daniel: "my arms are on fire, I need to see a doctor soon this looks like it could be permanent"
Panel 5
Daniel slowly looks up and when he does he's shocked

Panel 1
Atom is standing, his right arm infront of him
Daniel: "he… he sacrificed his already destroyed arm so he can still stand, it probably hurts like hell and he's still going with it."
Panel 2
Atom drops his right arm letting it rest
Atom: "while storing mana isn't something the body usually does but I'll make it, I'll find a spot to store it
Panel 3
Atoms hair starts to glow, then rise, the once half white half black hair is now fully white , his head band starts glowing with it but not as bright
Panel 4
Atom prepares his left fist and takes a step back moving mama from both his hair and his core to his hand, it glows brighter than anything else in the area,
Panel 5
Daniel tries putting his hands up to protect himself but it's slow they hurt to much to do much but he still reinforces them

Panel 1
Atom punches, all the energy surging out of him into the air in front of him as if Daniel was there, the sheer amount of power is overwhelming to the few bystanders that still remain and they fall to the floor
Panel 2
Daniel gets sent flying by the shockwave and into a tree but doesn't stop and just breaks it in half and continues
Panel 3
The momentum eventually stops as Daniel is on the ground knocked out from the force,
Panel 4
Atom dropped his hand and his hair is now back to normal
Panel 5
Atom falls to the floor from exhaustion
