..my mother went quite for a while once i was done talking....
likely still processing my words.....

I look over at saf and she gave me an uneasy smile as she turns her head from my mother's darkening expression...

I'm brought back to my mother just in time to she her rise and start to pace the floor around our sitting area.....

her voice was getting lower and darker as it trailed off...
mumbling to herself I could tell it was working her up to no end...
" m.mother..." I say to try and get her from getting darker
she snapped her head to me and I could have sworn that saw....something....swirling in her usually bright and colorfull eyes....
....before it disappeared and I'm treated to a megawatt smile....
" sweety.... thank you for bringing this to my attention, you don't know have much it means to me for you to turn to me for help " she said as she stopped pacing and walked back to her seat

the bell made a sound that seemed to resonate through the room and through every object.....

the door opened and a dark blue colored spirit wearing a maid uniform stepped in and bowed
" at your behest your majesty " she said still bowing
" can you summon yeomei...and make sure she comes armed with a imperial guard squad " my mother said
" as you wish your majesty " she said before stepping back out still bowing slightly before closing the door

....I turn back towards my mother had she had a wry smile on her face
" don't mind her ..... although she may come off strange I can trust her with my life....you will see her around alot as she is my personal maid...and someone I have practically raised since birth. try to get to know her and I'm sure you both will be friends with her in no time " my mother explained with her smile becoming bright at the end
me and saf both nodded....
I didn't really pay to much attention to her....
..but since she said so.....
... and since it seems she can be counted as a .... sister? of sorts...
I'll can see if we can "make friends".....
....or at the very least be on friendly terms with each other....
it wasn't long before another knock sounded on the heavy metal door.....
...after my mother allowed them in the door opened and a dark...dark blue wolfkin dressed in a impressively decorated uniform with black leather armor covering only covering her arms and leg's...
"....your majesty...at your service.." she said while kneeling down after not walking far into the room...
.....when she did I noticed out in the hall behind her I could see more practically dressed knights with different races mixed into the group...
...." good yeomei I want you to take the guards that accompanied me to retrieve my daughter to be arrested and placed in the....special dungeon...you do not need to be polite about it...if they resist you are allowed to break a few bones.. " my mother said to yeomei with her voice taking on a sinister edge towards the end....
....my eyebrows raised a bit ...but I can feel saf beside me almost radiating with approval....
...yeomei gives he a strang look and open her mouth like she wanted to ask why....
..but I could see her think about it a second before closing her mouth and bowing low...
... " as you wish your majesty... " she said before long and swept out the room...door closing behind her and we could hear her issuing orders to the knights outside...
...it wasn't long before the hall was silent again....
...i could see my mother nod with approval...
" she may not look it...but she is one of my best general's and I trust her more to get the job done... " she said turning and looking over at us.....her eyes seeming to reflect something deep.....but once again it disappeared just as fast as it came....
" .....it may take a while for her to get done...hmmm...since that is out the way we can move on....if you guys dont mind me asking, how did you two meet? I've been extremely curious and I want to get to know my daughter's girlfriend " my mother said her eyes sharpening with the change of topic...
immediately I start to fidget nervously...

....but it does nothing but makes my mother smile even more....
...saf realizing she also wasn't helping stops talking and looks at me....

..she lets her hair fall over face as she looks down at her own lap...covering her face from mine and my mother's scrutiny....
....I look back to my mother and I see her holding back laughter...

" ...if guys are ready we can go shopping now...yeomei can report the results after we get back.....also I'm keen to see my daughter I'm all the many cloths I have in mind.....plus I want to make up for lost time and have a bit of mother daughter bonding.... " she said turning back to me
saf must have made face because I saw my mother suddenly turn to with a smile and said " ..don't worry sapharen, I don't mean to disclude you....you will still join us...I just mean that I was us to have fun "
...I turn to saf to see her nod....she turns her eyes to me and gives me a small smile
I give one back
" we shall leave then...is there anything you guys need before we leave?... " my mother asks as she raises from her seat to stand
I shake my head " no....I'm ready " while also joining her to stand
" so am I " saf chimes in as she latches into my arm not long after rising too

she moves to the door and we do as she says...
she opens the door and once outside in the hall we could see guards rushing around silently not far away...
...we all look at each other knowing that-that could mean nothing but trouble...
..we walk over and my mother stops one of them..
" Your Majesty!! " the pink skin guard with reddish white horns said as she immediately knelt upon see who's was stopping her..
" whats wrong? " my mother asks
" replying to her majesty...general yeomei has mobilize all castle guards to find squad six but so far there has been no luck.. " the guard says
" I see....you may leave.. continue with your work " my mother replies
" Yes! your majesty!! " the guard says before standing and rushing off down the hall to join others..
...me and saf both turn to look at my mother with a bit of concern..
..she notices ands say confidently " don't worry I'm sure they will be found soon....there is nowhere to hide from yeomei... "
..she continues moing down the hall with us trailing her...
...once near the front doors we see a group of guards near them..
...once we are near one of the steps forward and knelt..." your majesty do you seek to go out? "
" yes..that's correct " my mother's nods
" squad two has been assigned to escorts after squad six's dismissal your majesty " the guard says
" that's fine " my mother says before walking past her towards the door
" yes! your majesty! " the guard said as she stands to fall in line with the others behind me and saf as we follow my mother outside..
we are greeted to the late afternoon light and the sight of a beautiful city starting to take its first breath as lights are already coming come on..
....as we move to the castle gates the guards move to circle us...
...but I pay them little mind as i was completely mesmerized at the city.....
...I didn't get a good look before but it is truly stunning..
I look over at saf and she was also enjoying the view...while also looking around at different shops the was around not long after exiting the castle grounds...
..we walk down the main street from the castle and came to the more wealthy part of the city and soon arriving at a beautiful wooden with shop with expensive looking clothing displayed in their windows..
....my mother walked to the front doors and a guard opened them before stepping aside to let us walk in..
..once inside we are greeted to a warm voice saying welcome...
....I look over and see a brown and black catkin tending to a outfit on a display mannequin....
.." oh! your majesty...I didn't know you would be by today... " she said rushing over
" ..sorry to fluster you nameia..but don't worry...we're not here today for me...we're here for my daughter and her friend.. " my mother said calming her down while also presenting me as she stepped aside and brought me before her...
...she stops and stares at me...and saf....
...i can practically feel her eyes raking over me and I can't help but shudder...
...I can see saf do the same out of my peripheral...
.." alright that's enough nameia...you'll scare them off.. " my mother said exasperated...
"..eh..eh.. my apologies your majesty...I just couldn't help but be amazed that your long lost daughter has finally appeared...and so striking.." nameia said embarrassed
" yes..it feels like a dream come true...but let's get on with those clothes.. " my mother said as she spaced out for a bit...before addressing nameia again..
.." of course right this way...I have to check your sizes and experiment with the best colors that match you..and also... " nameia trailed on as she guided me and saf to a changing area and got to work...

...it was a while later before my mother was satisfied with the results and bid nameia and the clothing shop farewell...
...she had a smile on her face as we walked down the street towards the castle..
..me and saf trailed her slumped over.... exhausted...
...four of the ten guards was following close behind us loaded with bags full of our new purchased clothes with the others going back to guarding..
.." are we returning to the castle your majesty?.. " the leading guard asked..
...my mother stopped and turned to look at me and saf's exhausted faces...and nodded...
.." yes...we can leave showing my daughter more of my lovely city later....I can see you guys are already tired.. "
..the guard said nothing else continuing down the street...
..though I was tired..that didn't stop me from truly seeing the city in all it's magical splendor..
..the most enchanting was a towering structure behind the castle on a big hill covered by vivid coloring glow flower garden clear to see no matter where you were in the city...it was made in the shape of a weird but beautiful crystal flower that radiated from the spirts surrounding it making it glow and the city lights themselves making it even grander..
..it had vines with smaller flowers and thorns seemingly growing from it that spread across the city sky..
..the city was itself was amazing too with dark trees that paradoxically gave off its own colored glow growing everywhere..
..the buildings each had lights shining in different but creative ways...
...it all added up to one word..
..breathtaking..
..
.
...as we soon arrived back at the castle..
..it didn't take long after we walked through the front door and the guards not carrying our bags to go back to guard duty in the castle before yeomei come striding up.....and kneeling in front of my mother..
.." your majesty I have located the members of the guard squad that accompanied you...however they have retreated inside the houses of the noble lords who back them....and no matter what....I am refused entry.. "
..my mother face change drastically at the news..
..she turn to us before saying " ..you guys...go ahead and put your clothes away..I have to remind....certain people who the H.B.I.C is..once you done come to the dinning hall and we can have dinner.. "
..we nod and my mother gesture for yeomei to follow her as she soon disappear down one of the many halls..
..me and saf look at each other before heading back to our rooms...the guards following behind silently..
..once we get to my room I open the door and have them set the bags on my bed before shooing them out..
.." are you worried?.. " saf asks me as I after i locked the door...
..she said so while opening the bags and dumping all the clothes out on the bed..
..then tossing the bag aside on the floor..

.." well don't be..i feel we can trust your mom to take care if it...anyways...come help me sort these...I'm ready for dinner..I'm starving.. " saf says as her stomach groans loudly
.." ok.. " I say joining her..
.we soon have them sorted and saf takes her clothes away to her room while I also put mine away..
..once done I step back out room with saf not far behind....
...we wonder around together until we find a big dinning hall with my mother seated at the head of a table...
..we walk in and sit down and I observe my mother's expression..
..she seemed tired with a few strands sticking out of odd places in her perfect hair..
.." dinner should be out soon..I'm sorry but afterwards I have to retire to my office to sort unexpected matters.. " she says with a sigh...
..I say nothing but nod..
..soon uniformed maid bring out plates loaded with food and we gorge ourselves on them..
.." by the way....I wanted to know...are you willing to take on training with me to explore your powers?.. " my mother asks when we was close to finishing..
..I look up at her...and hurriedly nodded..
..I knew I could use it...
...plus while I can wield my dark elf's powers to a certain degree..I'm lacking in my spirit powers...and I also want to be able to defend myself more to avoid....past experiences...
" great...sometime tomorrow morning I'll have a maid guide you to my training grounds...you too can join sapharen as I'm sure you can take sometime away.. " she said a smile appearing on her face

....then open my door and step into my room....closing the door behind me..
..the room was dark so I dialed the lights up a bit..
..soft dark purple light cast the room in a dim but inviting glow..
..I walk to my window and gaze out at the vibrant and breathtaking night life of the city..

..i don't know how long I was looking out the window but I soon I heard my door open quietly..before closing again..
..turning I see saf with her back leaning against the door facing me..
..her hair was wet and she had on one of her old big shirts with what seems like a pair of one of my underwear on underneath..
..i didn't think it's has been all that long...but she obviously she had tine to take a quick shower..
.." nova...can we...sleep together..again?.. " she asks softly her eyes piercing me from across the room..
..it takes a minute before I nod and she walks further into the room..
..I leave the window and we meet beside my bed..
.." are you sleeping in that?.. " she asks looking me over..
..I shake my head and quickly head to the bathroom..then proceeded to strip off my clothes...
