It took Vivianne two full days before she could move again, two days before the tension finally eased from her body, before her breathing evened out, and before the cold that clung to her skin began to fade. Only then did her mana core refill to barely half its capacity.
When Leonhart and Ashkareth heard the report, both of them froze. "Half?" Leonhart repeated, incredulous. "She's been absorbing mana nonstop for two days… and that's only half?"
"Yes," Roxanne replied calmly. "That's how powerful she is."
Leonhart frowned, struggling to wrap his mind around it. "Half?"
"You think that's small?" Roxanne continued, her voice sharpening just a little. "She enveloped all of us with Undine's protection, every knight, every beastman, every demon, every mixed blood, along with the gryphons—while simultaneously attacking with the powers of all four Spirit Kings."
