"F-Father?" Kakashi's voice trembled, barely more than a whisper, as he stared at the man before him. His wide, disbelieving eyes locked onto the familiar face, one he never thought he'd see again.
Sakumo Hatake, very much alive, stood silently in front of his son. His hair was shorter now, dyed black to match the Uchiha guise, but the face, the presence, Kakashi could never forget.
"I'm sorry, Kakashi…" Sakumo's voice was low, filled with guilt.
Kakashi didn't wait. In an instant, he dashed forward and threw his arms around his father, hugging him tightly. His body shook as he buried his face into Sakumo's chest, the tears falling freely.
Sakumo closed his eyes, hands slowly wrapping around the boy. He had no words. He didn't deserve forgiveness, but he'd still fight for it.
He knew that his action was idiotic and selfish.
To put it short, he killed himself over disgrace, over shame he couldn't endure. He originally believed that removing himself from Kakashi's life would somehow protect his son from the scorn of the village. He thought he was shielding him.
But after listening to Kadoya's words and watching those visions.
He realized just how stupid his decision was. He died early and leaving his son with no one left to care for him, making him an easy target for the higher-ups to use.
So he accepted Kadoya's plan.
The White Fang would die, leaving his son under the care of one of his students, Kadoya Uchiha. Kadoya would then use Izanagi to alter Sakumo's fate, letting him cheat death, leading to the next phase of the plan.
He would take on a new identity: Hatake Uchiha, a "genin" who quietly resided within the Uchiha Compound.
While Kadoya would adopt his son, Kakashi, taking him under his wing and providing him with a more proper education, this also offered Kakashi a lair of protection.
By now, many of the higher-ups and shinobi know that Kadoya possessed the Mangekyou Sharingan. With Kakashi being an adopted Uchiha, no one would dare to touch him unless they wanted the entire Uchiha Clan surrounding their home.
Even the Hokage and Danzo dared not act recklessly. The Mangekyou Sharingan was already fearsome enough; they did not want to provoke an entire Uchiha clan. No one wanted that war.
Sure, they still scheme in the shadows, but they really couldn't do anything direct.
One of the Uchiha's forbidden jutsu, Izanagi, was able to rewrite fate itself. Kadoya has selected the point in time when Sakumo was said to be cremated, releasing this forbidden jutsu's effect, making Sakumo's body disappear, and his 'corpse' would then be switched with that of a lost Root shinobi, who accidentally wandered into his shop.
While he was busy cremating the still-alive Root shinobi, the real Sakumo, after putting on the wig and a new set of clothes, would exit his shop using the back door and quickly make his way toward the Uchiha Compound, where he was welcomed inside after saying the secret code Kadoya set up, confirming his identity.
"Take your time," Kadoya finally said, stepping back as father and son clung to each other. "Kakashi, from today onward, you'll begin your studies at the Uchiha Academy. You may be a genin in the village, but here, you still have much to learn."
Leaving the father and son to have their heart-to-heart about what to do next, he headed back toward his house.
Kadoya's other eye shifted, revealing the X pattern of his Mangekyou Sharingan, and his previous blind eye regained its color.
Using Rei no Ketsugō, he directly selected the point before his eye activates Izanagi as the Zero point, returning to zero, and restored his eye.
Rei no Ketsugō, which embodies the concept of Zero, lets him reverse anything back to the stage of zero, while Shunkan Teishi embodies the concept of Pause, letting him freeze anything.
The effect of Izanagi still happens; he simply places the state of his eye back to before activating Izanagi.
Originally, Izanagi's duration only lasted around 60 seconds longer or less, depending on who is casting it. Kadoya's Shunkan Teishi paused for this duration, letting him keep it up for over three days before releasing it.
With Rei no Ketsugō, he never has to fear his eyes going blind from overuse or the drawback of Izanagi and Izanami.
However, the searing pain that comes with pushing a single Mangekyou eye still lingers. That's where Shunkan Teishi comes in again, pausing the pain before it can grow, allowing him to continue without collapsing under the strain.
Kadoya returned to his home before sitting down calmly beside Nobu, who was drinking tea and eating rice crackers.
She already knew that Sakumo's death was nothing more than a show Kadoya put up for everyone.
Sakumo's death caused a series of chains of events; his death was a catalyst for the Third Shinobi War, because a Kage-level shinobi like Sakumo had disappeared, showing that Konoha had weakened and giving the other villages the courage to attack Konoha.
"So how is the kid?" She asks narrowing her gaze toward Kadoya, seeing him missing his ahoge and his aura is a bit darker, his eyes look sharper, a bit more menacing.
"Disappointing." He speaks honestly, using his memory of the future Kakashi as a base.
Future Kakashi became so weak that he became a measure of unit.
Kadoya's current chakra reserves were around 74 Kakashis. While Naruto, during the Rasenshuriken training, was said to be 4 Kakashis. If counting the Nine-Tails, then that would be 100 Kakashis.
During peacetime, Kadoya didn't just improve the Uchiha; he also continuously refined and condensed his chakra reserves, sealing more and more into his body, stocking up to the point that he had somewhat become a living Tailed-Beast in human skin.
"Aren't you a bit too harsh?" She said, amused.
He shrugs before speaking. "The boy thinks he is a genius ahead of his generation. But from what I saw, it looks more like he has just been hanging around weaklings who were taught with the wrong material."
This was Kadoya's honest view of the current Ninja Academy. With the standard set extremely low, only knowing how to use the three basic jutsu, and nonstop talk about the Will of Fire. The other subjects aren't that important; otherwise, even if Kakashi could graduate early, he would at least need to study for a few more years before he could graduate.
The Uchiha Academy was different; the students, along with the teacher, also needed to learn and study about other subjects besides just how a ninja operated.
They are taught to practice thinking, fast decision-making, along philosophy when put into a tough decision. There is even some question about choosing between a mission and a comrade, with different scenarios.
There is no real answer to those types of questions; the main purpose is to see whether the student has what it takes to become a ninja or not.
There is even a question based on Sakumo's incident, and upon witnessing it firsthand. Many parents who have taken those tests and know about those types of questions that the Clan Head sets up.
They told their kids this to take their studies seriously. Every parent wants their kids to grow up strong and successful; they don't want the child they raise to one day grab a knife and stab themselves just because a few weaklings talk shit about them.
The Uchiha Academy didn't just train frontline ninja through the Shinobi Course; it also offered specialized paths like the Medical Course for aspiring med-nin, the Builder Course for future architects and engineers, and the newly introduced General Course. The General Course was designed for those with sharp intellects, strategic minds, quick decision-making skills, and deep knowledge of warfare and tactics.
Its goal was simple: to cultivate Uchiha who could think like Izuna Uchiha, the legendary brother of Madara, widely regarded as the brain of the Uchiha Clan.
As Kadoya had once said, "The Uchiha don't lack power, they lack brainpower."
The General Course was created to fix and improve on that, functioning as an advanced tier of the Shinobi Course. Currently, it was mostly filled with older Uchiha members eager to learn and contribute to the clan beyond just brute strength.
"Say, there's something I've been meaning to ask," Nobu said, a playful smirk tugging at her lips.
"What is it?" Kadoya asked, keeping his tone casual.
"Are you a magus?" She asked, tilting her head slightly, as if teasing him.
"Nope," Kadoya replied coolly.
This is the Naruto world. Chakra, not mana, is the power system here.
"Oh? Then why does your blood contain traces of mana?" She said offhandedly, still wearing that smirk, except now it had a sharper edge.
Kadoya blinked. "What?"
"There's a faint mana residue in your blood," Nobu continued, examining her nails like it was no big deal. "Not a lot, but it's there."
He froze. That shouldn't be possible.
"I'm just wondering if it's renewable?" She asks, still acting casual.
There was no logical reason he, someone born and raised in a chakra-based world, could have mana in his system. Unless...
Then the image of a petite goddess living rent-free inside him flashed through his mind.
"Could it be..." He murmurs before closing his eyes.
Upon opening his eyes, Kadoya found himself within the endless void that existed inside his own body.
The space was vast and surreal, with countless objects drifting weightlessly, furniture, books, food supplies, even full-grown trees. His gaze soon settled on the one responsible for this bizarre landscape.
Tiamama.
She sat comfortably at a low table, cheeks puffed up like a hamster as she munched on cookies and sweets. Crumbs scattered around her like fallen snow, but she paid them no mind. The interior of his body had become her personal paradise, fully furnished with a kitchen, gardens, beds, wardrobes, and more. She had essentially remodeled his soulscape into a cozy retirement home.
Even Naori had somehow managed to find her way here, and the two decided to become… neighbors? Or were they technically roommates?
"So the mana must've come from her," Kadoya muttered, watching Tiamama nibble on a macaron without a care in the world.
With a quiet sigh, he vanished from the inner world and returned to reality.
This strange phenomenon was only possible thanks to the passive skill: [Perfect Vessel].
To explain it simply, imagine the human body as an empty cup. Sealing something inside it is like pouring water into that cup. Pour in too much, and it spills, causing instability or failure of the seal.
Ordinarily, to increase that capacity, one would train their body, enhancing their endurance and chakra reserves, the very reason the Uzumaki Clan, descendants of the Sage's Body, made ideal hosts for tailed beasts. Their "cups" were naturally larger than most.
But [Perfect Vessel] ignored that rule entirely. Instead of enlarging the cup, it discarded it, turning the surroundings into the container.
That's why, even though Kushina had a large inner space for Kurama, it was still finite, bound within a cage. In contrast, Kadoya's inner world was an endless void, an infinite domain with no beginning or end.
Opening his eyes, Kadoya stared at Nobu seated in front of him, still waiting for his answer.
"I figured out where the mana came from," He finally said. "And... it's renewable."
Obviously, the mana inside him was from Tiamama, although these are just leaks and weren't much; he won't mind using them to fill his servant.
"Perfect," Nobu said with a sly grin. "Then let's do a Mana Transfer."
As a demi-servant, her access to her heroic spirit abilities depended on mana. Without a proper supply, her combat potential was severely limited.
"Alright." Kadoya nodded, preparing to cut his palm for a traditional transfer, until he noticed something odd.
Nobu was getting undressed.
"Oh, that kind of Mana Transfer." He immediately realized what kind she was referring to.
According to the Type-moon world, Mana Transfer could be transferred either through a ritual or body fluids, like blood, saliva, semen, etc, and according to what is shown in the original VN of Fate/Stay Night.
Semen is the most potent.
Kadoya has zero experience performing magic and has only a few remnants of mana inside his body, trying to perform a normal mana transfer is impossible for him. Neither he nor Nobu wanted to waste them, squeezing out as much value as possible, so...
Without warning, Nobu pressed forward.
Her bare, slender foot struck him in the chest, knocking him flat onto the tatami floor. Before he could recover, she was already atop him, straddling his waist, her modest chest swaying slightly with the motion. Her long black hair fell like a curtain around them, strands brushing against his cheeks.
Leaning in close, she whispered with a smirk, "Let's see what you're really made of." Before crashing her lips against his in a fierce, passionate kiss.
The next morning…
Sunlight streamed through the paper windows, casting soft rays over the futon. Underneath the shared blanket, two bodies lay intertwined, naked, tangled, and sore in ways neither had expected.
Both Kadoya and Nobu blinked groggily, trying to chase away the remnants of sleep.
"…How the hell did you overpower a Servant?" Nobu muttered, her voice hoarse. "Are you sure you were a virgin?"
"I was. Yesterday," He replied flatly, ignoring the first question entirely.
Nobu shot him a deadpan look. "Really? Never would've guessed."
With a lazy wave of her hand, she summoned her signature cap into existence, casually twirling it on one finger before placing it beside the pillow.
"Say, can a demi-servant get pregnant?" She asks.
"Don't know." He shrugs before scratching his head. "If it's a boy, we name him Madara. If it's a girl, we name her Madara."
Nobu: "..."
"You really think that far ahead, huh?" She said, cracking her neck and creating a few popping sounds.
"Not really, honestly speaking, I'm not that good when it comes to showing affection. I don't even show it much... unless it falls into specific circumstances." He speaks to her honestly.
Despite him usually joking and not taking many things seriously, when it comes to expressing himself in a way to tell someone that he loves them.
He could never speak it out loud. Not because he doesn't want to, he just doesn't know how. If he forces himself to say it, it sounds empty, fake even. Which could send the wrong message, confusing others that he doesn't care.
Natsumi could testify for this, since the last time she heard something like "I love you Nee-san" was before Kadoya ran headfirst into that wall.
Nobu let out a low chuckle. "You think I don't know that?"
She teased before leaning against him, speaking in a quieter voice. "We're one and the same, you and I."
As a warlord herself, responsible for the severe acts of destruction carried out during her campaign, she couldn't show much affection to others, not because she didn't want to, but at the time, it wasn't possible.
A quiet silence settled between them for a moment, until Kadoya spoke.
"Round two?"
She looked at him, shrugged, and smirked.
"…Sure."
