The sound of footsteps echoed across the vast courtyard of the royal palace. The crimson sun above cast long shadows on the black stone floor as Aamir, the nine vampire lords, and King Zalmic arrived at the royal training grounds.
Zalmic stopped at the center of the open ground and raised a hand.
"Here," he said, his deep voice carrying authority. "This place has seen the blood of kings and warriors alike. You may fight here without restraint."
Aamir smirked, rolling his shoulders as he stepped forward, his boots clicking against the polished blackstone. He walked toward the center of the courtyard and turned to face the nine vampire lords.
"Alright," Aamir said casually, his voice sharp with confidence. "How do we wanna do this? All at once, or do I crush you one by one?"
Murmurs rippled among the vampire lords. Clicy, the only female among them, stepped forward with an amused smirk. Her crimson eyes glimmered with mischief as her bat-like aura flared faintly around her.
