Chu Tingting failed to convince Lin Banxia to give up on Huo Yanting. Her face turned livid as she sat back in his sports car, pulled out her phone, and dialed a number.
"Get that report done. I want the biggest front page, the boldest headlines, and the most cutting words. Also, make all descriptions about Lin Banxia as humiliating as possible. If you satisfy me with your work, that thing you've been asking me to handle—I'll take care of it for you right away."
From the other side of the call came a voice, respectful yet excited: "Miss Chu, don't worry. I'll follow your orders to the letter."
Hanging up the phone, Chu Tingting glanced toward the pear garden, letting out a cold sneer.
Lin Banxia seems to only have this pear garden left that's worth anything, doesn't she?
Since this is the thing most dear to her, Chu Tingting wished she could set it ablaze, burning everything to ashes—and best of all—burning that detestable woman alive inside.
