On the contrary, since you've come to work at my company, that still counts as a certain kind of fate. If you want to prove that you're a good employee, then switch to another department and show me your capabilities. Prove to me whether I was right to help you or not."
Banxia froze upon hearing his encouraging words, then she smiled, the corners of her lips curving upward. "Which department do you want me to switch to? Let me confess something to you upfront. Honestly, I don't have any work experience at all. I'm afraid I'll just disappoint you."
Wei Chen's gaze deepened. This woman was still as blunt as ever. Somehow, though, he inexplicably liked the way she spoke directly — without holding back, without a shred of calculation. Her words gave him a strange sense of reassurance.
