"You're back."
As soon as the door opened, Xia Shi's voice came through. Bi Xia paused slightly and nodded, "You haven't slept yet?"
"I'm about to," Xia Shi replied with a gentle smile. He stood up, walked into the kitchen, and brought out a bowl of porridge, "I just made this. Drink it, then go wash up and rest early."
"Okay," Bi Xia took a sip of the warm porridge and noticed Xia Shi's tired expression. She pressed her lips together, "You don't need to wait for me next time, go to bed early."
"How could I sleep peacefully when you haven't come back yet, silly child?" Xia Shi raised his hand to pat Bi Xia's head but suddenly paused, shaking his head helplessly, "I didn't even notice, Xiaxia has grown much taller than mom."
Seeing the slightly dazed expression on Xia Shi's face, Bi Xia sighed softly, bent down obediently, and placed Xia Shi's hand on her own head. But at the same time, she curiously asked, "Mom, why do you all like to touch my hair so much?"
