This weekend, Sheng Tang spent time at the Gu Family's house.
Gu Shiting was reading in the study room, with only three weeks left until the college entrance exams; Sheng Tang lay on the sofa in his study, browsing through Lu Yuanyuan's notes.
Neither of them spoke, each lost in their own thoughts.
The morning passed with Gu Shiting getting up twice to pour water, offering some to Sheng Tang as well, which she did not drink.
She kept reading the notebook.
When lunch time arrived, Gu Shiting asked her, "Did you find any clues?"
Sheng Tang replied, "These are English class notes. Besides what the teacher said, there are some excerpts she took down as after-class thoughts—nothing personal from her."
She searched the notes for Lu Yuanyuan's feelings, hoping to find some hints.
However, it was truly just a notebook.
Sheng Tang was in the same class; she had noted down the same content and knew it well.
