There were fewer guests on the second floor, and the manager led Li Zhiting and Tian Xingyun to a quieter spot.
From the window, they could see the dazzling night view outside.
"Please have a seat, Mr. Li."
"Take a seat." Li Zhiting said to Tian Xingyun.
Tian Xingyun nodded and sat down. After she sat down, Li Zhiting followed suit.
The manager handed him the menu, which he passed to Tian Xingyun across the table: "Order whatever you like."
Tian Xingyun took the menu, glanced through it, and ordered two light vegetable dishes.
She handed the menu back: "I've finished ordering."
Li Zhiting took the menu and noticed, with a slight raise of his eyebrows, that she had only ordered two vegetable dishes.
He proceeded to order several more dishes, all famous specialties of the restaurant.
Fifteen minutes later, the waiter brought all the dishes to the table, and Li Zhiting served her a bowl of soup first.
