It seems that Shaohua isn't behaving strangely at all, it's just mom making a fuss.
How could Shaohua possibly do anything to let her down? Mom is overthinking.
Hearing footsteps, she quickly put her phone on the table in fright.
"How is it? Did you find anything?" Mom Song walked in briskly.
"Mom, you scared me!" Song Yi's face turned pale with fright; she thought it was Shaohua coming in.
"Why are you such a scaredy-cat, so useless!" Mom Song snorted coldly and walked over to pick up the phone on the table.
"Mom, put it down quickly. I've already checked and there's nothing there." Song Yi stopped her mom, worried that Huo Shaohua was about to come in.
If he found out, that would be terrible.
"He's still downstairs, I'll just take a look." Ignoring Song Yi's objections, Mom Song opened the phone and started checking immediately.
She just didn't believe this Huo Shaohua had no secrets at all.
"Mom!"
