"Mm..." Ye Cheng replied heavily.
"I don't believe you." Zimei pouted, "Ye Xiaozheng, are you such an easily moved person? Hurry up and get the wine!"
As Zimei spoke, she nudged his arm.
Her actions managed to keep Ye Cheng from sinking into distress. He held back the redness in his eyes and stood up to fetch the wine.
Before long, a bottle of aged red wine was placed in front of Zimei.
"Only one bottle tonight." Ye Cheng knew her drinking capacity was amazing, but excessive drinking was harmful to the body, so he gave her an early caution.
Zimei didn't agree and urged him to pour the wine.
Sure enough, as Ye Cheng had anticipated, Zimei couldn't stop drinking. Eventually, three empty wine bottles lay on the dining table.
"Ye Xiaozheng, carry me home~"
Zimei, drunk and confused, was sprawled on the dining table, mumbling, her cheeks flushed, looking utterly intoxicated.
Ye Cheng took away the wine glass she was unwilling to let go of, sighed helplessly, and lifted her up.
