Back in the bedroom, Ji Wei was already asleep.
Mo Qian slowed his steps and walked toward the bed, stopping to quietly observe the woman's sleeping face. Ji Wei's breathing was soft and light, her long eyelashes still trembling faintly, and her complexion looked less pale than before.
