I asked Albert if he had extra time and if he had than he should join us for dinner, we are willing to share some of this with him. And he after considering all the possibilities, thinking about Emma and Elizabeth accepted our offer initially. I thought that I was going to offer this to Xaden but hearing his snores did not allow me to interrupt his precious and important sleep. Albert sat with us and ate whatever we offered him, and we being good humans and having a sense of camaraderie gave him good part of the lunch box given to us by Charlotte. As I was munching on the food with stuffed mouth, I saw Charlotte wearing scrubs and putting a face mask on her face she tenderly froze the wound of injured. Her caliber 'Liquid manipulation' was stopping the waste of blood by tricking down from the open wounds. I turned my head in all directions and saw a few people injured lying on bed while waiting for their turn.

Soon we were finished, and we were told to take rest in our base and leave tomorrow morning. They also said to make our own base in the under operational area, but easy said than done! Now we were lying on the floor because jealousy of Hoover made us lose a built-in bed as he offered to give this to Xaden because he seemed pretty tired.

"Hey Emma, have you found anything good for us to eat?" Elizabeth shouted in a relaxed tone as she shuffled through the torn bottles in the fridge. She was on her knees desperately trying to find something edible or drinkable. Both were searching for some food in convenience store.
"I am still trying to find it." Emma shouted her reply to Elizabeth. There was a faint sign of grimace in her voice.
Elizabeth after listening to Emma shout, frowned and walked away from the fridge while putting her hand in her windbreaker's pockets. She whistled and looked in all directions.
They could not find anything good to eat as all the stuff present there was already expired and even the bread present in there was moulded.
"Hey, I have found something to eat! Hurry, come!!" Emma suddenly started to shout with excitement from the above floor of the convenience store.
Listening to Emma's voice Elizabeth immediately ran for the stairs and climbed them to arrive where Emma was. She saw Emma bending downwards with her short side bangs completely covering her face. She licked her lips before asking, "What is it? What did you find?"
Emma showed her a packet of chips without saying anything. The chips were salty in flavor. Elizabeth glanced at the packet and dropped her head downwards in sadness.
"Is that all?"
"Yes, this is all!" Emma answered without showing any particular emotion.

Erick was travelling all around the area with Niall. They were done with their duties and were now just wasting the fuel of the truck. They were allowed to do this because of their immense help in the reconstruction and Niall continuously driving the truck for whole day and still driving it for Erick, but there were others as well with them. They were none other than Albert and the kids he travelled along with. He insisted Erick to let these kids travel through the area.
"Hey apple, why are you so red?" Inrid was riding on Albert's shoulder who was sitting on the back seat of the truck letting Albert sit in the front seat.
Hearing what Inrid just said, Erick could not respond to it but could only narrow his eyes and kept looking straight forward. The boy even started to grip Erick's hair with both hands trying to make a handle. As Erick's hair was short, he could not grip it properly and had to grumble.
All the girls were looking outside through the side window with wide eyes. Iska even had her mouth open in awe. The amazing blue markings made for helping the overseers and construction workers were shining bright in the night. Erick was feeling a bit sleepy because he had been using his caliber and burning his vital force all day, so it was natural for his body to react in order to replenish the lost energy. Niall was the only one who was energetic from the trio of three older boys. He was screaming and laughing, Inrid also moved towards Niall as he found Erick to be rather boring because he also refused to take any provocation seriously same as Albert. They were both screaming and shaking their heads in to and fro movements in unison, showing their enjoyment.

Two days has passed since we returned from our base to the operational area and continued killing deathodds. I was able to utilize my caliber just fine and without any trouble, similarly Hoover did the same and killed some hybrids.
We did not find any other injured or stuck people. We have only rescued those four boys we did in the first day. I heard them saying that some people were going to return to their native lands after experiencing the traumatizing incident where deathodds virus broke out.
We have been exterminating these creatures for three days now and still have not found anything other than hybrid stage. Well, our area was only about some kilometers, so it does not matter but in those some kilometers we did not find any human as well. Is everyone really rescued?
There must be something going on, hmmm, deathodds are an amalgamation between a virulent agent and dead body. The virulent agent takes control of the dead body and causes it to move by artificially replicating the vital force.
Then does it mean that the virulent agent stops at only one dead body. There is nothing like this explain anywhere?
"Hey Hoover, come down here! I have something to discuss with you."
I screamed at Hoover who was swinging his axe in all directions to show off. Listening to my words he looked downward and appeared right in front of me. There were little sparks in the air from the path he travelled here.
"What is it?" Hoover looked disappointed because his showoff was interrupted.
"Did you read anything about deathodds can be amalgamation of only two things. Agent and a dead organism?"
Hearing my question Hoover scrunched his eyes with curling his upper lip in right corner.
"Yeah, I heard it! Did you not read the creature encyclopedia of this world!?"
"Eh?" I looked at Hoover with dumb eyes after his answer.
