Chapter 338: Klee's Martial Soul
Faced with Ye Cheng's suggestion to talk, Bibi Dong hesitated for a moment but ultimately nodded in agreement. No matter what, the man before her was still Klee's father. And with Klee having traveled from the future, no one knew if their actions in the present might affect her existence.
For example, what if she and Ye Cheng never married? If Klee was the product of that union, would she still be born?
If the conditions of her existence were erased, would she simply vanish?
This was something Bibi Dong had been worried about all along. Time was an unpredictable force, and no one could say for certain how altering the past would affect the future.
And so, the two adults, accompanied by a small child, began a slow walk through the rebuilding city.
Little Klee, holding onto her mother's hand, skipped along cheerfully. Ye Cheng walked beside them in silence, seemingly unsure of what to say.
After all, before today, he and Bibi Dong had barely interacted in reality. Their only encounter had been brief, and they were practically strangers.
The two adults walked in silence.
Sensing the awkward atmosphere, Klee tilted her head curiously and looked up at them. After thinking for a moment, she suddenly stretched out her other tiny hand and held it up toward Ye Cheng. Her big, innocent eyes gazed at him expectantly as if silently saying: Uncle, hold my hand!
Looking into those expressive golden eyes, Ye Cheng felt something stir in his heart.
"As expected of my daughter… She's the cutest in the world."
Without a word, he reached out and gently held her tiny hand.
And just like that, Klee was now holding both of their hands, one in each.
The awkward tension between Ye Cheng and Bibi Dong instantly disappeared.
Klee had unknowingly become a bridge between them, drawing two distant people closer together.
There was no doubt about it daughters were truly a father's most precious little treasure.
After walking a little further, just as the two adults had gathered their thoughts to finally speak, a brilliant golden light suddenly erupted from the direction of the Elder Hall!
A pillar of radiance shot into the sky!
A massive six winged angelic projection appeared above the heavens!
Klee stood frozen in place, staring in awe at the enormous angelic figure in the sky.

As if something deep within her resonated with that sight, her body began to glow and completely on instinct, Klee unleashed her martial soul!
Yes despite being a natural born God King, Klee still possessed a martial soul.
Martial souls were the foundation of the spirit master system, passed down through bloodlines. And Klee was no exception.
Behind her, a six winged humanoid figure appeared, similar in form to the angel in the sky.
However, unlike the massive projection above, Klee's martial soul was only human sized. It did not create any grand celestial phenomena but the moment it emerged, it radiated a divine presence so overwhelming that those nearby felt an instinctive urge to kneel in reverence!
There was no doubt Klee's martial soul was also a Six Winged Angel.
However, her angel was fully formed, with a clear and delicate face and it was unmistakably her own, but fully grown.
The angel's body was flawless, dressed in a radiant flame embroidered holy robe, and its six burning wings were wreathed in golden solar fire!
Behind it, a halo of sunlight hovered much like the sacred halos seen in temples behind depictions of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
Even more astonishing
Unlike the standard Six Winged Angel, Klee's held two divine artifacts in its hands:
A tower the Tenfold Celestial Pagoda.
A sword the Rainbow Skyblade.
There was no doubt about it
As the daughter of the Great Radiant God Ye Cheng and the Angelic Deity Qian Renxue, Klee had perfectly inherited their martial souls and combined them into something even greater.
Perhaps it should be called the Great Solar Seraph Martial Soul?
Or maybe something even grander The Supreme Holy Angel of Infinite Light, Boundless Virtue, and Universal Salvation?
Ye Cheng's mind wandered with ridiculous names.
On the surface, however, he feigned deep shock.
Beside him, Bibi Dong's eyes widened in disbelief, clearly startled by the sudden outburst of power from their daughter.
Fortunately, Klee's martial soul manifestation seemed to be temporary, merely a brief reaction triggered by the resonance of a kindred spirit.
In just a few seconds, the brilliant angelic projection behind her dimmed and soon after, it vanished completely.
Only Ye Cheng and Bibi Dong, who were close enough to witness it, had the privilege of seeing this brief glimpse of an ultra divine martial soul.
It all happened in mere moments.
As her martial soul faded away, Klee seemed oblivious to what had just transpired. Instead, she continued to stare at the massive angel projection in the distance, her golden eyes filled with awe.
"Waaah! So pretty! I wish I had a martial soul like that!" she said enviously.
As a natural born God King, Klee's martial soul had already awakened in its complete form.
Unlike normal spirit masters, she didn't need to undergo a martial soul awakening ceremony.
Because her power was sealed at birth, she had never experienced that process so she falsely assumed that she simply didn't have one.

Ye Cheng and Bibi Dong exchanged glances and, in perfect silent agreement, decided not to correct her misunderstanding.
Now was not the time.
At this stage, Klee was still too young and innocent.
What she needed was to learn and grow.
When she matured enough to handle the responsibility of her power, then and only then would they tell her the truth.
If they revealed everything too soon, Klee might attempt to break the Silver Dragon King's seal on her power.
And if she fully unlocked her God King strength in her current mindset…
That would be no different from giving a nuclear bomb to a hyperactive toddler.
Who knew when she might accidentally set it off?
After a brief moment of admiration, Klee lost interest in the distant angel projection once it faded from view.
She happily returned to holding hands with her "mama" and the "really nice uncle", continuing their walk through the city.
To passing pedestrians, they looked exactly like a normal family.
With Klee between them, Ye Cheng and Bibi Dong gradually relaxed, their conversation becoming more natural.
For the first time, they actually started to enjoy each other's company.
That is
Until Qian Renxue arrived.
And with her arrival
The peaceful atmosphere was completely shattered.
