Chapter 505 - Chapter 504: The Summit

The colossal palace turned into a roiling sea of clouds! It nearly covered the entire sky above Konoha Village!

Most of the villagers witnessed this spectacle and felt a deep sense of regret over the disintegration of the Cloud Palace. At the same time, they were relieved that they had witnessed and recorded its moment of greatest glory, feeling it was worth the experience.

Gradually, the chaotic sea of clouds subsided, and the Cloud Palace, now shrunk to a fraction of its former size, rose into the high sky and vanished.

Torifu absorbed all the Chakra from the clouds into his Cloud Ball and tossed it far away.

The sun once again shone down upon Konoha Village.

"Good heavens, Hokage-sama is always so astonishing whenever he makes a move. I haven't quite had enough."

"Having seen a scene like yesterday's, I don't even think twice about things like this anymore."

Torifu constantly displayed his abilities within Konoha, but it was never intentional. It was simply more convenient to use ninjutsu to deal with certain matters. However, this indirectly led the villagers to worship him and crave the sight of him performing ninjutsu. Ninjutsu that would strike fear into the hearts of enemies was regarded by Konoha's villagers more as performance art or a show.

This was all because Torifu had maintained such a close relationship with the villagers.

Torifu, however, didn't think much of it. In fact, he disliked the feeling of being aloof and distant. He had grown up with these villagers and was very familiar with them; there was no reason to be arrogant.

After raising the Cloud Palace into the sky, Torifu returned to the Kumotsuru Clan compound. After all, the villagers were just waking up now, so it certainly wasn't a good time for a summit. Besides, he hadn't even eaten breakfast yet.

When he landed, Naori walked over. "Can the Cloud Palace be restored in the future?"

"Of course. It just requires some work, but it's not too difficult."

Naori nodded when she heard this. She still remembered Tsunade's wedding plans; the young woman was definitely itching to have her own wedding after seeing Torifu and Naori's ceremony yesterday. That was why Naori had asked. If it could be restored, that made things much easier.

One by one, Minato, Yahiko, and Konan woke up. Their routine morning training was non-negotiable. Yahiko and Konan were now training with Minato, though their speed couldn't match his, so they could only practice the necessary techniques for their stage, which was primarily Chakra refinement.

Work always feels lighter when there are more people, and having two younger students by his side made Minato train with extra intensity.

After half an hour, when Minato finished, he was drenched in sweat. Torifu tossed him a handkerchief to wipe himself dry.

He then interrupted Yahiko and Konan's training. "Alright, let's go eat first. After breakfast, those who have work to do, go to work, and those who have school, go to school."

The wedding was over, and Konoha Village was returning to normal operations starting today. The recent holiday had caused a stagnation throughout Konoha, resulting in a huge backlog of missions. The ninja were going to be very busy.

As expected, Hatake Sakumo would come and take Minato away after breakfast, and Yahiko and Konan would have to go to school. If Naori hadn't needed to go home to move her things, Torifu would have genuinely wanted to take her to the summit as well. Being alone at home was boring, and he didn't want Naori to be alone in such a massive compound.

As for Amado? That guy was practically nonexistent during the day.

"Alright, let's go."

Their destination was the village's morning market. Although they had been on holiday recently, the Konoha morning market had never stopped operating. Even after yesterday's grand ceremony, it was still open today, without any delay.

The moment Torifu's family appeared, they were immediately the focus of everyone's attention. The villagers' faces were full of smiles and joy, and they spoke nothing but words of blessing, which made Torifu feel extremely pleased.

Despite the warm blessings, Torifu wouldn't eat something he disliked just because of a few well-wishes. Naori, on the other hand, bought many different snacks along the way. Fortunately, the taste was acceptable, and the group finished them with a bite each, ensuring no waste.

"Owner, one bowl of dumplings, four buns, and two eggs for each person."

"Coming right up! Hokage-sama, please wait a moment!"

For an ordinary person, eating this much for breakfast would cause severe indigestion, but for ninja, it was nothing. Furthermore, Naori was going to move, Torifu was going to a summit, and the children all had their own activities to attend to. They definitely needed to eat a filling meal.

"Minato, have you felt rusty at all after not going on missions for the past few days?" Torifu asked with a smile.

"Not at all. However, not having executed missions for the past few days has made me quite eager. I want to get back to training myself as quickly as possible."

Hearing these words from Minato wasn't surprising; he had always been so diligent.

Soon, the breakfast arrived. The owners of the wonton stall were an elderly couple. Before Torifu started eating there, their business was only moderately good. Although the food tasted great, there were simply too many options at the morning market, naturally thinning out the customer base.

That changed when Torifu stumbled upon the wonton stall, much like when he discovered the barbecue place—it quickly became an unbreakable habit. He ate there almost every day, which directly caused the elderly couple's business to explode from "moderately good" to "booming." This made the couple tired, but also happy, as they could chat with the Hokage every day. How lucky!

All the vendors at the morning market said the elderly couple were blessed. But in reality, it wasn't about luck; the wontons were simply delicious, which attracted Torifu, who loved to eat.

The family ate and chatted together, quickly finishing their breakfast. After paying, they returned to the compound.

Sure enough, as soon as they arrived, they saw Hatake Sakumo waiting at the entrance. After offering a few words of blessing to Torifu and Naori, he took Minato away to execute missions. Minato's two other teammates joined them.

"What about you? When are you going to the summit?" Naori asked.

"Right now. I'll leave the house to you. Things will settle down after this busy period is over."

Naori smiled slightly. She was certainly aware of and very understanding of Torifu's situation.

After they parted ways, Torifu first went to the Hokage's Office and instructed the cleaning staff to tidy up the conference room on the second floor. It hadn't been used in a long time, and a meeting with so many Kage today required it to be clean.

Just then, his secretary entered the room with a cup of tea.

"Hokage-sama, why are you here so early on your first day of marriage? Aren't you staying home with Naori-sama?" The secretary looked genuinely puzzled.

"I can't help it. There are so many things that need to be handled, and a meeting with the Kage absolutely requires me to take charge."

"Go and notify them. Start by inviting the Land of Iron."
