Ten minutes after we arrived at the house where the party was ongoing, and when we were starting to socialize, a commotion began to form near the windows pointing to the street. Intrigued, my friends and I went to see what was going on. A black, expensive-looking limo was parked in the street.
"That's a Rolls-Royce Phantom." One of the onlookers gasped. "Those start at more than 500 k, but this one seems custom made."
"Hey David, did you invite someone that owns one of those?" Another asked the host.
"Like hell I did." David Williams answered. "But you know me, right? The more the merriar - is my moto, so anyone that's invited to the party can invite anyone else. Still, I wonder who invited them?"
The driver of the limo - a sharply dressed man - exited the car and approached the back door. The anticipation of the onlookers was palpable. He opened the door and, one by one, four beautiful ladies exited.
The first one was a blond with an expressionless face and red eyes - a girl that seemed bored wherever she went, her disinterest far surpassing my own. She was wearing a white blouse coupled with a blood-red pair of pants.
The second was a pink-haired girl that simply radiated chaos and wildness. She was sporting extremely short shorts and a crop-top.
The third to come out was another blond. This one had deep, blue eyes and a relaxed smile. Her face - while looking innocent - showed something profound and mischievous - as if she had lived for ages, knew everything and was simply laughing at us - simple mortals that dared to even look her way. Her clothing style could be best described as Goth-lolita.
The last girl to come out of the car was the most beautiful - deep, red hair contrasted well with her emerald-green eyes and the simple white dress gave her the feel of someone divine. That feeling was immediately shattered when she began looking around frantically.
Everyone at the party began gossiping about the new arrivals, trying to figure out who was the one to invite them and whether or not they were models or celebrities. Some guys began dividing them up before even having the chance to talk to them. Bro code went through the window almost immediately, screaming, arguing and pushing around became the norm, but everything stayed in the house until one guy that was losing this showdown decided to be sneaky and approach the girls before they entered the house.
He snuck out of the room and began walking towards the limo with a big smile, tidying his clothes and fixing up his hair. Everything went fine until the rest of the bros saw what he was doing and gave chase. Soon after it escalated from fast walking into a literal race.
They shoved and tripped one another until the first one finally sprinted to the target. Gassed out and with wrinkled clothes, he took a second to get his breath back and was about to speak when someone else stepped out of the car - a man this time - a familiar face - Alex Jones.
The man that was about to speak was left dumb founded, while Alex didn't even acknowledge his presence, walking past him and heading towards the house followed by the girls. He entered the house, looked around and locked eyes with me, then approached. Everyone's eyes fixed on him.
"This is my first time attending a party." He said. "So I don't really know the rules and customs like whether or not I should bring a gift, so I brought one just in case." He motioned to one of his companions - the pink-haired one and she gave him a bottle. "Can you direct me to the one whose party this is?"
"Sure, no problem." I answered and turned to David. "Hey David, this is Alex Jones, we've met today and he seemed interesting so I invited him here."
David Williams, who was standing with the other people to the side quickly approached and shook Alex's hand. "Pleasure to meet you, Alex, this is my party, so if you need anything or don't know something, feel free to ask." His eyes landed on the bottle. "Is… Is this for me?"
"Yeah, I didn't know what you like, so I just picked out the most expensive thing that I could find."
"Quite the gift indeed." David said with a smile, examining the bottle. "If I'm not mistaken, a bottle of 'Louis xiii' starts at 4 thousand."
Only then did I read the label of the drink and had to make a double check. Just how rich is this guy?
"You're good." Alex said while nodding. "Didn't expect to find myself in the presence of a true connoisseur." He turned to the girls and began introducing them. "These are my companions - Alpha, Pain, Luna and Elizabeth, be nice to them, okay?"
"Yeah, sure thing, but those names?"
"Don't read too much into it." Alex turned to the girls again. "Alpha, Liz, have fun, Pain, Luna, Don't. Dismissed." With those words, the people around us began to move again, going straight for the girls with various questions, proposals and drinks, while I and David took a seat on the couch with Alex.
"So those girls… How do you know them?" I asked. "In your story, you didn't mention anything about them."
"All I can say is that they are a bit different from what you'd consider normal. They all have immense inner strength and resolve that is almost always hidden by their quirky personalities, but over all - they're reliable." Alex said. "I made contact with them and ultimately befriended them through those years. They have helped me a lot, so I wish to thank them for everything by showing them the good life."
"Dude, how cryptic can you get? What? Did you get isekaid or something?" David asked with an amused smile.
"Well, it was a different world from our own, that's for sure." Alex answered leaning back.
"Yeah." I interjected. "He told us the most wild story that I've ever heard. I don't know if even a small part is true, but it was so entertaining, vivid and fresh, that I might just believe it."
"That sounds real fun, but there's a different, more pressing question." David said. "Which one of them is your girl?" David's eyes widened with realization. "Wait, don't tell me that you're dating all of them at once?"
David had asked the question I was so desperate for someone to ask, yet not dared to ask myself.
"Why do you want to know?" Alex asked.
"Why else?" David said. "Firstly, I just want to see what kind of a man you are. You can tell a lot about a man from the woman by his side. Secondly… They're hot as f. Every single one, so if they're free, I'll take my shot."
Alex laughed. "Trust me they're not the kind of girls that you could handle… As for the one by my side - that would be Elizabeth."
So he does have someone… I thought.
"Elizabeth, that's the red-head, right?" David asked. "That means that the rest are fair game?"
"Go for it, champ, I'll gladly watch your misery from this sofa." Alex said. "Just tell me, which one of them will it be?"
"The one you called Pain - the pink haired one." David answered.
Alex let out a long whistle. "Good luck with that one, I hope that your life insurance is up to date…"
"Don't jest, dude, how bad could she be?" David asked. "Well, wish me luck, guys, I'm heading out." He stood up and brushed his hand over his hair when some guy flew from the other room and crashed into the stereo equipment, shutting the music off.
The guy stood up and made a move for the door when from the other room a flash of pink flew towards him, grabbed him by the head and smashed the poor guy's face to the floor. The flash of pink turned out to be Pain, she slowly stood up, still holding the guy by the hair and began dragging him towards us.
"Damn it, Pain, I specifically ordered you not to have fun." Alex said, emphasizing the word 'not' with irritation evident on his face. "We've been here for what? Half an hour or so and someone is already down. And why are you dragging him here?"
"Sorry, boss, but I thought that you'd want to kill him yourself, that's why I brought him here." The girl called Pain said, effortlessly lifting the guy by the hair to his feet. "He put something into Elizabeth's drink while she was in the bathroom."
"That's bullshit!" The guy shouted. "I didn't do, ugh…" He was silenced by a powerful knee to the stomach from Pain.
"You'd do well to stay silent while others are talking, scum." Pain said with a villainous smile.
"I've told you time and time again that we can't kill someone here that lightly." Alex said, shaking his head.
"So you want me to simply let him go?"
"I didn't say that, anyone that covets what is mine must be punished severely. I'm thinking - either getting both his legs broken or getting castrated should suffice."
The guy's eyes widened. "You can't do that, you sickos! Do you even know who my father is? That bitch already broke my nose, I'll definitely su…" Another knee to the stomach.
"Since I'm in a good mood, I'll let you choose your fate yourself." Alex said slowly approaching the guy wearing the same pleasant smile.
"You can't!" Another knee shut him up again.
"Choose."
"Please, no…" The guy whimpered, tears rolling down his cheeks. "I'm sorry, I will never attempt anything similar, just…"
"Choose." Alex stood right in front of his prey.
"I… I…"
"What's happening here?" A melodic voice from the entrance to the room caught everyone's attention. I turned around and saw that it was Elizabeth. "Ada… I mean Alex, what are you doing to him?"
"Nothing, dear, This poor, stupid fellow…" Alex gestured to the guy in Pain's grasp. "He drank too much and fell down on his stupid, insignificant face and broke his nose. Pain was kind enough to help him to his feet, as you can see. That's all, right?" He turned to the guy with a questioning stare.
The guy hesitated. Alex leaned closer and whispered something into his ear that made the guy's eyes widen and his body shake. "Right?" Alex repeated the question.
"Y-yes… I drank too much… It's all my fault. I'm sorry to have made you worry." The guy said, dejected.
"Oh, right, your nose is broken…" Alex addressed the guy. "Let me fix it for you…" He grabbed the guy's nose and a loud crack could be heard. The guy screamed in pain. "See, Liz, I even helped him. I wouldn't have helped him if I was the reason that he got hurt in the first place, right."
"Well… I guess so." The red-head admitted. "I was worried that, knowing you, you'd have gotten into trouble again. I'm relieved that you're actually helping someone this time." She smiled.
"Of course, I always help when I can, you know me."
"No you don't."
"Okay, that's harsh." Alex turned to the guy. "Silly me, now that you have sobered up a bit and your nose is fixed, I believe that you'd best be going. Pain, let the man go."
Pain obliged and the shaking body of the unfortunate guy sprawled onto the floor. He stood up, his legs - shaky and headed for the door. As soon as he left the house, he began running, not looking back, while Alex calmly went to the stereo equipment and began fixing the damage. A moment later the party started again, but no one was in the mood to dance and no one dared approach any of the new girls.
"Are you still going to go after Pain?" I asked David.
"...She's a bit much for me." Was the reply that I received.
