Suppressing his rage, Ye Han trudged onward, Xiao Wu happily perched on his back.
His mind raced, strategizing how to deceive the two mighty beasts.
With the Dragon God's Essence to lure them and Xiao Wu as my pawn… it should be easy.
The King Approaches
"BOOM—!"
Suddenly, the earth quaked.
A monstrous presence charged toward them—so powerful it made the entire forest tremble.

"So this… is the King of the Forest?" Ye Han muttered.

"Sister Xiao Wu! Where are you?!"
The beast's voice boomed with joy as it searched for her.
Xiao Wu beamed and waved. "Er Ming! Over here!"
The Titan Giant Ape's gaze snapped toward her—
But when it saw Ye Han carrying her, its eyes darkened with fury.
"ROAR—!"
"FILTHY HUMAN! RELEASE HER!"
Its massive palm, large enough to blot out the sky, slammed down in a hurricane of force.
Ye Han remained calm, ready to dodge with his Ice-Fire Dragon Wings.
Xiao Wu, however, panicked.
Master must not be hurt!
She leapt down, arms outstretched to shield Ye Han, screaming:
"ER MING, STOP! HE'S NOT HUMAN!!!"
