Evenly walked into the dinning hall, with her son walking ahead of her. After the words Rohan had spoken to her so many months ago in the cottage, Evenly had begun to take care of herself and cope with her grief by writing letters and sending them to the wind, pretending she was sending them to a husband in a faraway land, working away from home.
It cleared her mind, especially when she received replies to a few of the letters, though at first she had suspected it was Angel or his father who had written them in Rav's handwriting to make her make-believe even more convincing. She didn't know how either of them had made it possible for her to receive replies that sounded so awfully like Rav, but she kept writing every day, hoping to receive more.
