"I know you're a demon. Why do you keep invading my mind? What do you want from me?"
Rohan asked coolly, not in the mood for conversation with a demon. He had never seen one before until now, and even though he was looking at this one, he still couldn't make out his face. The distance and the backlight of the moon turned the figure into a shadow.
The demon laughed, a laughter that chilled Rohan to the bones.
"Is that how you greet someone who crossed realms just to say hello?" came the words of the demon, making the corner of Rohan's lips pull up into a mocking snarl.
"And who sent you to come?" Rohan mused with sarcasm as he eyed the demon with a look of disinterest. Meanwhile, his hands, tucked inside his trouser pockets, clenched tightly as he tried to stop his body from trembling in the presence of this creature.
