"What should I do?"
Mirabella's voice echoed softly through the hidden chamber, yet not a single soul was in sight, leaving one to wonder where the sound came from.
Then, a glimmering sparkle of golden light appeared, hovering in the void before swiftly moving to the center of the chamber.
The voice came from the shimmering glow, it was Mirabella herself.
"I haven't progressed far enough through the Divine Energy to abandon my physical body," she murmured, her tone edged with frustration. "And that bastard… his strength has become overwhelming. His entire being seems to pull at my own Divine Energy. If I fought him like this, bound by my limitations, I would definitely lose."
In the end, Mirabella could only sigh, part pity, part disappointment.
It wasn't Zarek's sheer strength that terrified her, but something far more insidious. His body was like a black hole for divine energy, constantly pulling in and devouring even her own.
