Near the waters of Puerco Island, the Cook Pirates had officially entered the range of the Marine encirclement.
Five days prior, when Doflamingo had set out with Enel and the others, Red-Leg Zeff had taken Robin and the rest on a different route.
However, on the third day of their voyage, Robin and the others had a change of heart. Robin found Ibes and told her of her decision.
She wanted to go back. She wanted to fight alongside Doflamingo and the others.
In Ibes's room aboard the Cook Pirates' ship, Robin was speaking with her.
"Have you really decided, Robin?" Ibes asked, looking at her seriously.
"Ibes, I don't want to run away anymore," Robin replied. "No matter what happens, we should face it together. I can't say my brother's way is wrong, but we're family, aren't we?"
Isn't that what family is for? To face hardships together? What does it mean for us to be here, enjoying Doflamingo's protection?
"Alright. I want to fight with Doffy and the others too. Let's go tell Law and the others right now," Ibes said, standing up.
"Okay, let's go together," Robin said with a happy smile.
In the meeting room, Red-Leg Zeff, Law, Baby 5, and Buffalo were already assembled.
"Ibes, is there something you need to tell us? Has something happened to Mr. Doflamingo?" Law asked nervously, looking at Ibes.
Baby 5 and Buffalo also grew tense at Law's question.
Ibes looked at everyone and reassured them, "No, nothing's wrong. Don't worry."
"Then, why did you call us all here?" Baby 5 asked curiously.
"I want to go back," Robin said directly.
"What?!" Red-Leg Zeff was shocked. This was his mission! He never expected Robin would want to return.
Unlike Zeff's surprise, the others were not overly shocked. After all, Zeff was a newcomer and didn't have a deep connection to the Donquixote family. But for them, it was different. Doflamingo was an irreplaceable existence.
"I want to go back too," Law said without hesitation.
"Me too!" Baby 5 and Buffalo chimed in.
Seeing this, Ibes and Robin's faces broke into smiles, very pleased with their responses.
"But..." Red-Leg Zeff began, his expression full of worry.
"I know what you're worried about. Don't worry. If my brother blames anyone for this afterward, I'll take full responsibility," Robin said magnanimously, alleviating Zeff's concerns.
"Count me in," Law said coolly.
"Me too!" Baby 5 insisted.
Ibes's smile grew even wider at the scene.
"Then, let's go!"
"Let's go!"
Back on Puerco Island, the frozen Ark could no longer take off. The members of the Donquixote family were like ants on a hot pan, frantic with anxiety.
"Dammit!" A cold light flashed in Enel's eyes. How could such a favorable situation have devolved into this?
"Damn it all!" Pica roared in anger.
The Marines would be upon them any moment. Enel and Pica had to prepare to fight them again.
"Pica, you clear the ice from around the Ark, quickly! I'll hold them off!" Enel shouted. Before Pica could react, he leaped from the Ark and flew toward the approaching Marines.
"Damn pirates! You're not getting away!" the Marines yelled, as if they could already see the dawn of victory.
"Cloud Stream Whip!"
The sight of Enel slaughtering the Marines fell upon the eyes of the Warlords. Just a final struggle, they thought. The earlier opportunity had been perfect, but Aokiji had ruined it.
Since their earlier battles with the Donquixote family members, Crocodile, Hancock, and Kuma had stopped their attacks, content to wait for the Marines and pirates to wear each other out.
On Doflamingo's side, he had been unable to stop Aokiji's move, and the admiral had turned the entire island into a landscape of ice.
Realizing the grave danger the Donquixote family was in, Doflamingo, under the pressure of three opponents, had no good options. In his desperation, he made several mistakes, and under their combined assault, he found himself in a precarious situation.
"Doflamingo, give up! Accept your fate," Aokiji urged him earnestly.
"Fate? What a joke. My fate is mine to decide, not heaven's. I won't let you capture me. You are not worthy to judge me," Doflamingo's golden hair whipped about wildly as he swung a fist wreathed in lightning, clashing with Aokiji's ice fist.
"Ooooh, how scary! Doflamingo, are you going to fight to the death?" Kizaru said playfully, though his eyes were serious.
The final counterattack of a cornered powerhouse was a terrifying thing.
"That's right. I'm going to fight to the death," Doflamingo said seriously after dodging Kizaru's laser and Mihawk's slash. His usual flippant, arrogant expression was gone.
"Come on then, Doflamingo."
Mihawk held his Black Blade, Yoru, with both hands, the aura around him growing more terrifying, his fighting spirit aimed directly at Doflamingo.
Hearing Doflamingo's words and seeing the look on his face, Kizaru and Aokiji also grew serious.
"Two Hundred Million Volt... Thor Strike!"
Doflamingo transformed directly into his Thunder God form and fired a bolt of lightning at each of the three, who quickly moved to block.
"Ice Age!"
"Laser Beam!"
"Supreme Sword... Slash!"
Three explosions roared simultaneously.
At that moment, Doflamingo appeared high in the sky, looking down from above.
The sky was filled with dark clouds, and not a single ray of sunlight could pierce through.
The three below saw this, and their expressions changed drastically. They realized what massive move Doflamingo was preparing.
"The time has come. It's time for destruction," Doflamingo murmured to himself.
During his last attack, he had already begun to change the weather above the island, making the electrical ions in the air more volatile, all in preparation for this final move.
Whether it succeeded or not, it all came down to this.
"Raigo!" Doflamingo roared, his arms spread wide, fully embracing the massive sphere of lightning in the clouds.
"Dammit, that guy Doflamingo! Is he insane?!" Aokiji, who had experienced this move before, felt a lingering fear.
If this attack landed, the entire island would be sunk.
And that was exactly what Doflamingo wanted. By destroying the island, he would separate himself from Enel and the others. That way, they would be safe. As for their survival, Doflamingo was confident they would be fine.
Outside Puerco Island, the crew of the Cook Pirates saw Doflamingo high in the sky, embracing a sun of lightning like a god. The image was seared into their minds, unforgettable.
"Quickly, Law, it's up to you! Get the Donquixote family members off the island, now!" Robin, seeing the scene, urged Law.
She had seen Doflamingo use this move before, but this Raigo was even more terrifying.
"I know." Law tore his admiring gaze away and nodded at Robin.
"Room."
Law continuously expanded his surgical space over the island, searching for the Donquixote family members.
The Marines, seeing this spectacle, were so terrified their legs turned to jelly, unable to move.
"Yahahahaha! Are you scared? Doffy's power is beyond anything you can imagine," Enel said, breathing a sigh of relief as he watched Doflamingo's awesome display.
"Get moving! Instead of being scared, kill one more pirate!" Vice Admiral Onigumo appeared from somewhere and began to command the men, his voice filled with a readiness to die.
"Yes, sir!"
The atmosphere among the Marines was filled with sorrow and determination as they charged toward Enel and the others.
The Warlords looked up at Doflamingo in the sky and cursed under their breath, "Madman!"
Then, they each used their own methods to flee. They had no desire to die with a madman like Doflamingo.
"Stop him!" Aokiji shouted to Kizaru and Mihawk.
The two of them nodded.
"Ice Age!"
"Laser Beam!"
"Supreme Sword... Slash!"
The three attacks shot toward Doflamingo.
"Thunder Judgment!"
Doflamingo blocked their combined assault, and at the same time, the sun of lightning under his control began to descend.
"End this! Be destroyed! Raigo!"
The pitch-black sphere of condensed power fell upon the island below.
BOOM!
Puerco Island lit up, blooming into the most beautiful firework.
Everyone was engulfed by the Raigo. As for the members of the Donquixote Pirates, they had vanished the moment before it struck.
"How beautiful," Doflamingo said, watching the grand performance with admiration.
Another island had vanished from the world.
Doflamingo took one last look below, then paid them no more mind. He knew that Aokiji and the others would certainly not die.
Until next time.
