The Sea Train's speed was several times that of a sailboat.
The next morning, Bellamy's crew abandoned their ship, took all their important belongings, and boarded the Sea Train. They needed to get to the next island as quickly as possible, before anyone could react, find another ship, and then set out for the Boin Archipelago. Upon their return from this training expedition, Bellamy would immediately initiate the final battle with Doflamingo. The declaration of war had already been issued; one of them was destined to die.
Dressed in large, black, hooded robes, Bellamy and his crew of over a dozen, including the remaining clones, blended into the crowd. Although they had taken some precautions, Bellamy could still feel many eyes in the crowd fixed on them. In the end, his movements had not escaped the notice of those who were watching.
There was only one Sea Train. The moment his presence was revealed on the island, it was inevitable that he would be spotted by certain people. However, as long as he didn't reveal his final destination, intercepting him would not be so easy. In at most five days, Bellamy could reach the next island. Unless someone knew his movements in advance, no one could block his path.
But the further they went, the more dangerous it would become. If they rode the Sea Train all the way to its starting point, Enies Lobby, that would be purely suicidal. Right next to Enies Lobby was Marineford.
"The pointer's turning more and more obvious."
This indicated that they were rapidly approaching the Boin Archipelago. When the pointer turned completely parallel to their course, it would mean they had reached the nearest sea region. From there, they would have to travel by ship.
This journey had taken so long and consumed a great deal of Bellamy's time and energy. But if they had run into Bartholomew Kuma, they might have only needed a single slap from his paw and a few days of flying through the sky to successfully reach their destination. Who knew what the principle behind that strange ability was? It felt completely unrelated to the Paw-Paw Fruit.
Being secretly watched for a long time, Bellamy began to feel a bit impatient.
"Drake, go and take care of those spies."
Drake's Observation Haki, after a period of training, was already very close to Awakening. He just needed a catalyst to grasp this miraculous power. As for his Armament Haki, with Bellamy's guidance, he could now coat his entire fist. If it didn't involve advanced applications, Armament Haki was primarily dependent on physical strength. As long as one's body was strong enough, they could awaken it naturally without much training.
Upon receiving the order, Drake, disregarding the horrified gazes of the other passengers, immediately made his move right there in the train car. Soon, three bodies lay on the floor. The other passengers in the car screamed and fled. In an instant, the car was empty, save for Bellamy's crew.
"Couldn't you have done that without being so bloody?" Mia couldn't help but roll her eyes. Why make such a big scene over such a small matter? The Sea Train's guards would be here any minute.
"They would have found out sooner or later in a place like this," Bellamy explained to Drake. The train car was only so big; there was nowhere to hide the bodies. Once he made a move, it was inevitable they'd be discovered. Since that was the case, it didn't matter whether they made a scene or not. As for the so-called guards, Bellamy had never even considered them.
They all thought the rest of the journey would be peaceful. But they didn't expect that, not long after, a man with a hairstyle like bull's horns would suddenly walk in from outside the car.
"Huh, what's that smell of blood?"
The man was carrying a large bag and looked like a merchant. He seemed to be just passing through this car to get to the front.
"Isn't that the user of the Door-Door Fruit? What was his name again?" Bellamy couldn't recall the name of this CP9 small fry for a moment. But the man's Devil Fruit ability had left a very deep impression on him.
The Door-Door Fruit allowed its user to turn any object they touched with their hands into a door, which could then be opened, allowing them to freely enter and exit any place. The key points were any object and any place. This "any" included their own body and the bodies of their enemies. It worked in the air, on fire, even in sunlight. No matter how hard or formless the place, a door could be created.
This fruit, in a sense, was invincible. As long as the user wanted to leave, even the Four Emperors and the three Admirals combined couldn't do a thing to him. This was a cheat-level fruit capable of creating an invincible powerhouse. Ordinary Logia or Mythical Zoan fruits weren't necessarily as overpowered as the Door-Door Fruit.
Who knew how much of a waste this horn-headed fool was. After eating such a ridiculously powerful fruit, he was still content to be a dog for the World Government. If he wanted to leave, who could stop him?
The sight of this waste who blasphemed power immediately soured Bellamy's mood. The very existence of such a person was the greatest insult to power and freedom.
"Hey, you with the horns on your head. What's your name?"
The moment he stepped into the car, Blueno had already sensed that something was amiss. But as the user of the Door-Door Fruit, he naturally felt no panic.
"These aren't horns." Bellamy's sudden question made Blueno subconsciously touch his hair. "It's my hairstyle."
"My name is Blueno. I'm the owner of a bar," he said. "Do you need something from me?"
Blueno was currently on a secret undercover mission. If possible, he didn't want to reveal his powers. This group looked like trouble. If a fight broke out, he would inevitably have to use his abilities.
"I remember now."
This guy, Blueno, was currently scheming with Rob Lucci for the Pluton blueprints. Bellamy remembered seeing in the newspaper just last year that Iceburg had been elected mayor of Water 7. At this point in time, the Pluton blueprints should have already been passed from Iceburg to Franky.
Should I get involved? These were the blueprints for Pluton, after all.
Bellamy thought about it seriously for a moment, but in the end, he dismissed the idea. What was the use of just getting the blueprints? He didn't have the ability to build Pluton. And he didn't believe that anyone in this world could build another Pluton without the World Government finding out. The World Government only wanted the blueprints to destroy them completely, thereby further solidifying their rule.
Getting the blueprints would bring him no benefit, other than painting a massive target on his back for the World Government.
But while he might not steal the blueprints, he could still cause some trouble for the World Government. Since he had run into this CP9 fodder, he might as well kill him.
"Blueno." Bellamy slowly narrowed his eyes, the killing intent in his heart gradually beginning to boil.
