"What?!"
Gasps echoed throughout the room.
The Konoha delegation, especially Uchiha Fugaku and the higher-ups, were stunned—not because they didn't know about it. They had some idea. But they never expected Su Xiuyu to casually reveal such a major secret in front of every other village… and even offer to take them along.
The others were even more shocked.
An entire other world? Independent? Real?
"Lord Xiuyu... I'm not even Mizukage yet," Mei Terumi said awkwardly. "Are you sure it's fine to share this information with someone like me?"
Su Xiuyu waved a hand dismissively. "I don't like Yagura. Go back and ask him to step down. If he refuses, I'll ask Fugaku to handle it and give him a... 'respectable exit.'"
Fugaku blinked, face stiffening. Ancestor... that's the Fourth Mizukage. You really think I can just take him out like a rogue Chūnin?!
Mei Terumi was caught off guard for a moment. Then, glancing up at Su Xiuyu's powerful, composed figure, she flushed slightly—and nodded. "Understood."
"The world is vast," Xiuyu continued. "Don't waste your ambitions squabbling over your backyard. So here's the deal—Ōnoki, Mei Terumi, gather your best shinobi and join Konoha's team to explore the other world first."
"Your teams will act under Konoha's main command. You'll have operational freedom for minor decisions, but the big ones? Follow our lead. Understood?"
"Yes, Lord Xiuyu!" the two responded simultaneously.
"The other world is full of riches and opportunities," Xiuyu added, his tone darkening, "but also great danger. Choose only those you trust absolutely. And figure out your own method of maintaining secrecy."
Then, his gaze shifted—landed squarely on the Raikage.
"A little reminder: there are beings in that world whose strength equals mine. So before any of you get greedy—especially you—remember, one wrong move could be fatal."
His message couldn't have been clearer.
Raikage A, arm still freshly severed, didn't speak. His usual defiance had vanished. Reality had humbled him. Twice he'd made a move... and both times, he'd been swatted away like a child.
Now? He could only sit quietly—silently accepting that Kumogakure and Sunagakure were in the second wave of soup recipients.
"To be blunt," Xiuyu said, voice steady, "this world was discovered by me. Only I can lead you there. If you want to eat meat—or at least drink soup—you'll need to show the proper attitude."
A and Maki had no choice but to swallow their pride.
"Due to the sensitive nature of this new world, information must be strictly sealed. I leave the methods to you, but leak prevention is critical. As for whether you wish to travel there yourselves—that's your call."
Raikage A finally raised his voice. "Then... when will Kumogakure have the chance to participate?"
Xiuyu didn't look at him directly. "Depends on Kumogakure's and Sunagakure's attitude. Once Iwagakure, Kirigakure, and Konoha return with reports, we'll reevaluate."
A understood immediately. "Attitude" was just a convenient measuring stick. If they liked you, you were in. If not—even crawling wouldn't help.
So... do I lick boots or hold the last shreds of pride?
"Alright, that's enough for today. The details can wait." Su Xiuyu waved his hand, signaling the foreign village representatives to leave.
Soon, only Konoha's people remained.
One side of the room held Uchiha Fugaku, Shisui, Itachi, and Kagami—all Mangekyō holders.
On another were the legendary trio—Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru: the pervert, the gambler, and the scientist.
Across from them stood the Founders—Senju Hashirama, Tobirama, and Hiruzen.
And by Xiuyu's side were Uchiha Chisato, Uzumaki Mito, and Uzumaki Asaoka.
"Now you all understand why I've been absent from the ninja world all these years," Xiuyu began. "It's not that I've abandoned our world. I simply had bigger things to handle."
"So that's why you've never cared about the Hokage seat..." Tobirama muttered, realization dawning. "You and even Madara... you both saw how small it was in comparison."
"And now I've become one of those so-called 'powerful people,' haven't I?" Xiuyu said with a smile. "I won't say I'm invincible, but I think I've earned the title of 'big boss,' no?"
"Hmph. Shameless," Tobirama grumbled.
Xiuyu chuckled.
"Alright, let me give you a rough overview of that world. It's called the Marvel Universe, and its main hub is a planet called Earth. However, it's just one of countless worlds inhabited by intelligent life."
"The western region of Earth is led by a nation called America. They have a global intelligence agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., which handles everything from alien threats to local superhuman incidents."
"There are many hidden factions on Earth. But the strongest—and most mysterious—is an ancient group of wizards known as Kamar-Taj. They're led by a being called the Ancient One."
"When you meet the Ancient One," Xiuyu warned, "treat her with the same respect you give me. She's not someone you can afford to offend."
Everyone in the room tensed at that.
"A Supreme Mage?" Tsunade asked. "How strong is she really?"
"In a life-and-death battle... I would lose," Xiuyu admitted. "So don't take her lightly. Fortunately, Kamar-Taj and I are on good terms. Thanks to that, the Uchiha and Uzumaki clans have standing permission to train in their arts—with my guarantee."
Though his tone was factual, everyone could tell... this was a bit of a brag.
"And there's more," he continued. "A key external force is Asgard—an alien realm that claims sovereignty over Earth. Their King is Odin, known as the All-Father."
"Don't take his title lightly. We fought once. It ended in a draw... though I did suffer injuries. That was Odin at his prime. He's weaker now—but still dangerous."
As Xiuyu spoke, the room grew more and more silent.
What he described was a universe far more chaotic, vast, and dangerous than anything the shinobi world had ever faced.
But also... one full of possibility.
The kind of possibility that only came once in a generation.
And Su Xiuyu held the key.
The meeting continued well into the evening. No one left. No one even dared blink.
Each person walked away that night with a different goal, a different dream.
----------------------
The news of Uchiha Xiuyu's return quickly rippled through Konoha's highest ranks. The major ninja clans were the first to receive the intel. Whispers of the resurrection of the First and Second Hokage began to circulate in a limited circle, adding fuel to the already blazing fire.
"Lord Xiuyu," Uchiha Fugaku said respectfully, "shouldn't the Uchiha and Uzumaki clans keep such explosive information to ourselves? Why involve the other villages at all?"
He didn't question Xiuyu's judgment—he merely voiced a sentiment any clan head would feel: when fortune comes knocking, you think of your own people first.
Even if Konoha went solo, couldn't they handle it?
But Xiuyu smiled faintly.
"Fugaku, I get what you're saying—but that world is far too vast. Do you really believe your two clans can take it all for yourselves?"
He leaned forward slightly, his gaze sharp.
"Besides, with me around, you'll always be prioritized. As for the other villages, they'll follow behind us, scavenging what we leave behind. Unless... you don't have the confidence to outmatch them?"
Fugaku fell silent. As a Uchiha, he couldn't exactly say no, could he?
"You'll stay in Konoha," Xiuyu continued. "I've never liked that monkey, Sarutobi. By the way—there's no more Elder Council, right?"
Fugaku nodded. "Correct. It was disbanded after I became Hokage."
"Good. Konoha doesn't need a chorus of old fools. One voice is enough. I tolerated that little monkey only out of respect for Hashirama..."
Senju Tobirama, who had been silently listening, scowled. He wanted to retort, but in his Edo Tensei form, weakened and weathered, there wasn't much he could do. Even at his peak, challenging Xiuyu wouldn't have ended well.
"Hmph. Hiruzen led Konoha quite well!" Tobirama muttered, still trying to defend his student.
But Fugaku wasn't done.
"Second Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen hasn't stepped on a battlefield since the Third Great War. When Kumogakure tried to provoke us by accusing the Hyuga Clan, he resolved it by sacrificing Hizashi to keep the peace."
"Hatake Sakumo—framed by Danzo—committed suicide. And the Sarutobi clan? Their forces expanded under Hiruzen's rule, while the Senju... well, they've essentially disappeared."
He hesitated, then added, "They say the Senju were 'integrated' into Konoha... but if you ask me, very little remains."
Tobirama's face paled. These weren't exaggerations. They were facts—each one a nail in his legacy.
"This... this is what you call a great Hokage?" Xiuyu asked coldly.
Tobirama staggered. All the pride he had placed in Hiruzen now felt hollow. When he'd chosen his successor, he had believed in his courage, his sense of duty.
But now, all Tobirama saw was compromise, cowardice, and a crumbling legacy.
"I'm sorry... teacher. I failed your teachings," Hiruzen said quietly, his eyes cast down in shame.
"You didn't fail me," Tobirama snapped. "You failed Konoha."
Xiuyu watched silently as Tobirama vented his disappointment. Once the storm had passed, he finally spoke.
"Enough. The Uchiha now lead Konoha. Tobirama... you feared them all your life. And yet, it was the Uchiha who stabilized everything in the end."
Tobirama clenched his fists—then slowly began weaving hand seals.
"I've seen enough."
In a flash of light, he released his Edo Tensei, his spirit fading back into the Pure Land.
"My apologies, Xiuyu. Tobirama's temper has always been... explosive," Hashirama said, scratching his head. "I'll follow and talk some sense into him. We're both dead anyway."
With a laugh, he too canceled his reincarnation and vanished.
"Well, that's sorted," Xiuyu muttered. "Handle Konoha's logistics yourselves. I have some personal matters to attend to. I'll be back in a month."
While Konoha's clans began dividing the village's slots for the otherworld mission, Su Xiuyu had already arrived in another universe—the Pacific Rim World.
"Long time no see. Did you miss me?"
Before him stood the towering Chakra Divine Tree, its ancient branches stirring slightly, as if answering him. Despite the time difference between this world and the Marvel Universe, many years had passed here.
Xiuyu frowned as he examined the withered chakra fruit dangling from its branches.
"This planet's drained. You've devoured everything there is... nothing left to sustain you."
Tiny tendrils of the sacred tree reached out, brushing gently against his face in greeting.
"I've come to take you away this time," he whispered. "There's no future for you here. Come with me to a new world."
The tree shivered, almost joyfully, and then—shockingly—the withered fruit dropped into his hands.
Moments later, the enormous tree, towering thousands of meters into the sky, began collapsing—shrinking down in a graceful spiral until it became a single seed, no bigger than a watermelon.
Xiuyu blinked in astonishment.
"You can do that now?"
A faint pulse of affirmation emanated from the seed. Clearly, the Divine Tree had evolved. It had developed this survival mechanism only in recent years.
Satisfied, Xiuyu returned to the ninja world, storing the seed safely in his personal pocket dimension—crafted with Kamar-Taj's spatial techniques. Unlike the dimensions used by the Otsutsuki, his world was completely sealed and undetectable.
No threat could reach it there.
Later, he appeared before Uzumaki Mito and Uchiha Chisato.
"Mito, Chisato," he said softly, "this time I want to take you home. You've met my parents before—but now... I want us to hold our wedding there. In my hometown."
Tears welled in both women's eyes.
After all these years... they had waited for those words.
"Xiuyu... you're terrible," Mito said, half-laughing, half-crying. "Proposing to two women at once!"
Xiuyu gently pulled both of them into his arms. "Please forgive my greed. I want to give you both happiness. Just think of me as a selfish man."
Hand in hand, the three of them crossed space—stepping into the real world, into Xiuyu's home.
What greeted them was a transformed Yangcheng.
The once-quiet city had become a fortified settlement. A six-meter-tall, one-meter-thick wall encircled the town. The signs of war and survival were etched into every structure.
"Things have changed here," Xiuyu murmured.
"Are Uncle and Aunt alright?" Chisato asked, concerned. "Even if time flows differently... it's been years, hasn't it?"
"They're fine," Xiuyu said with a warm smile. "I've visited them from time to time. They're still as in love as ever... so in love, in fact, that they barely noticed how much I've grown."
He chuckled.
"But they're older now. A lot older."
