Yin and yang, gold and silver, all descended together in blinding streams.

It was the culmination of something quieter. Her body was refining power, extremely old, dense power, from a 500-year-old serpent, and even that did not grant immediate transcendence.
It took time.
Her body, her blood, her core… everything was still processing the gallbladder's contents.
