Darkness
That was all Nephis knew when she opened her eyes.
Pain crawled through her body like fire, it was like tiny little ants were chewing her from inside out. Both her arms felt heavy, weighed down by thick plaster.
Her leg throbbed under its cast. Every breath pulled at the stitches in her face, and she could feel the slow, wet seep of blood leaking from where her eye used to be.
"Ahh..." she let out a low whimper of painful sound.
'It's hurt....' she wanted to use her aspect to heal her injuries, but she knows that doing so will hurt her more then the pain she is feeling right now.
Then for a while she just stays like that for hours, staring at the white ceiling, she was recalling the fight she had with Alex.
If it was even right to call it a fight, after all from other point of view and from her vision, it was nothing but one sided slaughter. She could still see the blood thirsty look Alex has when he stabbed her times after times, without stopping.
'It's all my fault....' She was foolish, she was reckless, she didn't prepared enough. She thought that getting a divine aspect was enough, she thought that her sword skills were enough to deal with any sleepers of her age or any nightmare creature of her rank.
She thought she was stronger then others....
If others would look at her now they would not see the Nephis, the prodigy of the Immortal Flame Clan, nor a symbol of strength, They would see a girl in wrapped in thick layers of bandages from head to toe, a girl who lost miserably.
Right now she was nothing but a broken shell of her former self.
Machines hummed around her, cold wires running across her body. She couldn't move. Couldn't fight. All she had left was the dim, suffocating silence of the hospital room.
CREEK!!
The door creaked opened, a figure walked in holding something
Nephis with a lot of hard work, manage to move her working eye, she saw a women wearing white clothes, walking towards her, she was a nurse who was in charge of her.
She seems to be looking at the machines and then at the computer, after she was done typing on her communicator, she write something on her clipboard.
CREEKK!!
The door creaked open again, Nephis didn't know why but her pulse quickened. Her heart started beating loudly, her body too was trembling.
She move her one good eye, searching for the source of discomfort.
Their standing at the door was him.
Alex.
The monster who had shattered her body in front of everyone. The boy who had turned her name into humiliation.
Nephis's lips trembled as she tried to speak, but the pain lanced so sharp through her stitches that nothing but a breath escaped.
The nurse at the bedside froze, panic flashing though her eyes as she spotted him.
"Y-you can't be in here!" she stammered, as she fumbling for her communicator.
Alex's voice came, flat and empty.
"I'm not here to hurt her."
'Lies.' thought Nephis, trying her hard to sit up, she knows that Alex must be here to finish things up....
The nurse too didn't believe him as she run to call for security.
THUD!
'No...no..'
Nephis's heart lurched as she saw the woman crashed to the floor. She watched, helpless, as Alex nudged her limp body with his boot, his expression one of cruel indifference.
"…Still breathing," he muttered. "Good enough."
Nephis's chest tightened. He had stepped into the room like a storm, sucking all the air away. Even without touching her, he made her feel powerless.
When he turned toward her bed, her throat felt dry. Her body screamed to move, to fight, but she couldn't. She was tied to the machines, wrapped in plaster, mutilated.
He stopped beside her. His crimson eyes locked onto hers.... they were cold and merciless.
"Well," Alex said, sitting down on the stool beside the bed, as he spoke with mocky
"Are you satisfied?"
Then he laughed, his laugh was jagged and cruel "Funny, isn't it? Everyone calls you the strongest… yet here you are, broken and barely clinging to life. Tell me, Nephis.... how does it feel?"
She wanted to scream. To spit in his face. To tell him that one day, she would rise again and burn him to ash. But she couldn't move her lips without splitting her flesh open. Even her silence felt like surrender.
He stood again, and her heart stopped when his hand reached for her face. Slowly, deliberately, he unraveled the bandages.
Cold air stung her skin.
Then came his silence.
She saw the disgust flicker in his eyes before he masked it. Saw his jaw tighten when he looked at her ruined face.
She wanted to die, then face something like this. She felt disgusted, she felt expose, she felt humiliated.
"Ugly now, aren't you?" His voice was like a knife twisting in her chest. "Scars that'll never fade. Tell me… why aren't you using your Aspect?"
Her one eye widened in shock. He knew. He wasn't supposed to know, yet he did.
"Don't look so surprised," he smirked, running his hand down her body, from her legs, to her stomach, to her chest, until it rested lightly against her throat. Her skin crawled where he touched.
His voice dropped to a silent whisper "I know everything about you, so tell me are you afraid of the pain? Afraid it'll break you even more?"
'What does he mean, he knows everything about me...' Nephis felt fear for the second time of her life, she was scared of what Alex might knows about her.
Because of the way he was looking at her as she was laying naked in front of him with her secretes exposed.
Her fingers trembled uselessly in plaster. She blinked, trying to clear her vision, but it only made her eyes worse, as drops of water were about to fall out her eyes.
"You must hate me," Alex whispered, leaning close. "And I don't blame you. I would too, if I were you. But let's be honest, you're in this state because of you own arrogance. That's the truth. Still…" He paused, eyes narrowing. "I'm not heartless."
Nephis's eye tracked his gaze as it went distant. He wasn't looking at her anymore, he was looking at something else, something only he could see.
'What is doing..?' Nephis saw a hesitant look on his face for the first time he has come into this room.
A moment later, a vial of glowing red liquid shimmered into his hand.
Then he move it towards Nephis face.
'No no, i won't let you.' Nephis tried to resist with whatever Alex was about to do to her.
"Relax, Silver bitch," he muttered, tilting it to her lips. "This will heal you."
'How dare he-' She wanted to resist. She wanted to spit it out. But her body betrayed her, swallowing the burning fire down her throat.
Heat spread instantly, searing through her veins. Pain roared louder than before, every nerve in her body screaming. Her bones shifted, reset. Her flesh burned as it knit itself back together. The hole where her eye had been pulsed, throbbed, then filled, sight flooding back.
She gasped, her chest heaving as the plaster cracked and fell away, reveling her arms and and legs which were whole again. Her face… she lifted trembling hands to touch her skin. Smooth. Untouched. As if the scars had never existed.
When she looked up, Alex had already turned around, walking to the door.
"Wait."
The word slipped out before she could stop herself.
He stopped. Turning back
"Why…" her voice broke, soft, disbelieving. "…why did you—?"
"Because." His crimson eyes glowed, sharp and merciless, like something not human, and strange smile was on his face as he spoke.
"Winter is coming."
Then he left.
The silence that followed was suffocating.
Nephis sat in the bed, her body healed, her face now restored, but inside, she was shaking.
Why had he saved her? To mock her? To remind her of her weakness?
She touched her face again, the phantom pain of scars still burning on her skin. The memory of his hand at her throat lingered, suffocating.
Alex's words echoed in her skull, cold and final.
'Winter is coming.'
What does he mean by that, was he talking about the winter solstice.
'But why did he say it like that...'
Nephis just stays like that for hours not moving, still trying to understand the meaning of Alex words.

What she didn't know was that Alex said those words just too look cool and mysteries.
He just wanted to aura farm in front of her...
But Nephis misunderstood his words, as something deep and ancient, while Nephis was busy trying to decipher the meaning of Alex words,
Alex was busy somewhere else. Doing something Nephis would have not even thought of as the last thing Alex would do.

In the queen size bed, Alex and Morgen was playing a strange game with Morgen bring on top of him.
They were both naked, as Morgen was on stopped of Alex her hands bounded him a position that was impossible for him to move.
"Ahhh.....y-yes… yes… hnnn…...ahh...m-more" Alex's voice broke into ragged moans as Morgen's sharp fingers teased and pinched his nipples, his pale body betraying him under her control.
"Ahh~hmm~yes~"
His flushed face lifted, red ruby like eyes shimmering with both shame and hunger, meeting the unyielding crimson gaze of the woman looming over him. The way she looked down at him. Her gaze was cold, merciless, yet savoring his helplessness which sent a shiver crawling down his spine.
'More… please…' His lips trembled, the words refusing to escape, though the desperation was etched across his features. His body was begging louder than his tongue ever could.
Morgen tilted her head, her smirk a dagger's edge. "What a pitiful masochist you are," she said coldly, her voice stripped of mercy. With sudden force, her hand clamped over his mouth, sealing his cries.
The pressure was suffocating, her grip unyielding, watching him squirm with cruel delight as air slipped further from his lungs. His vision blurred, the room spinning, his body twisting against her iron hold
Until…
SMACK!
His head snapped to the side under the crack of her palm. The sting burned across his cheek, shocking life back into his fading senses. He gasped, wide-eyed, chest heaving as he caught sight of her raised hand.
"Stop enjoying this," Morgen said with icy finality, though the cruel curve of her lips betrayed her amusement.
'Gods, she's so hot…' The thought ignited a molten rush through Alex's body. Heat pooled in his core, undeniable, uncontrollable. His shame only deepened, and yet his desire climbed higher with every breath.
Morgen leaned down, her hair spilling like ink across his skin as her lips hovered by his ear. She exhaled a slow, deliberate stream of heat against him. Alex shuddered violently, every nerve ending alive, torn between recoiling and surrendering. But her weight pinned him in place, leaving his body at the mercy of hers.
'My mind says run…' he thought in panic, 'but my body has betrays me.'
Her voice dropped to a silken murmur, deceptively gentle: "Alex… won't you tell me how you defeated Nephis?" Her fingers cradled his cheek almost tenderly, like a mother coaxing a secret from a child. But in her crimson eyes shimmered something dangerous, playful, predatory.
"N-no…" he rasped, turning his head aside. If he gave her what she wanted now, this game of lust would end here, and he feared the loss of her touch more than the consequences of silence.
'For getting touched by a goth women, this is something i must do.'
Her expression sharpened into a wicked smile. One finger traced the curve of his lips, then slipped between them with teasing slowness. He tried to bite down, but the sensation was like sinking his teeth into stone, unyielding, cold. Pain shot through his jaw, and his defiance faltered instantly.
Morgen's fingers explored deeper, brushing against his tongue, pressing down his throat with mocking ease. Alex coughed, saliva spilling, eyes fluttering back in dizzy pleasure and suffocation all at once.
He didn't see his danger. Or maybe he did.
He knew this woman, this intoxicating figure looming above him, could shatter him without hesitation. Destroy him if she wished. And still… would he resist?
Would he ever want to?
He himself wasn't sure anymore.
'I need to stopped enjoying this...' even thought he think like that he would not stopped, the reason was simple
'i already liked her touched~'
Alex could only wonder, how had he let himself fall into this perilous embrace.
He was just returing back from the hospital wing when Morgen met him and told him to meet her to her room.
He thought he was getting lucky but he didn't expect things to take a wild turn.
'Well if i have wanted to i could have escape but i don't want to~'
And just like that Alex got what he has alwayes wanted...
