"Humans have very little Karma and also very little brain capacity, that is why they can't control it. But human emotions are also powerful" Tomura stared at Kakashi for a moment. "Hatred, anger, sadness, depression; all these are human emotions that easily manifest into this world as demons and hunt them. Normally, this wouldn't have been able to happen if there were no supernaturals in this world"
"What are you trying to say?"
"I'm saying no matter matter how many you kill, they will always come back. That's the balance of the world. Humans are nothing but worthless maggots who will do anything for their selfish desires!" Tomura yelled. "And supernaturals are the ones who get to pay for their stupidity. Sacrificing lives of innocent children to protect those who are unworthy of it, everything the ASE academy stands for just disgusts me!!!"
Kakashi straighten up.
"That's just how it was supposed to be: the strong are meant to protect the weak. You just don't understand?"
"What's there to understand, huh? You think money is going to cut it, I had a family, I had someone who always waited for me but because of the academy, I lost that person" Tomura said.
"I get it. You must have suffered a lot to be like this, but killing is a crime and for that, I'll have to dispatch you"
Kakashi darted towards Tomura, heightened his fist ignited with dark flame-like aura - the visible form of Karma.
"I got it!" Tomura suddenly yelled, making Kakashi stop in his tracks. Huge wave of air blew across the lot. "I got it. If I could change the balance"
"Change the balance? How is that even possible?" Kakashi asked after jumping three meters backward just to be safe.
"There is a way to stop demons"
"There is!?"
"The balance of the world: light and darkness, good and evil, supernaturals and demons, there go hand in hand, as long as one exists the other one must also exist" Tomura paused, Kakashi was blank. "We just have two choices, well three. Is either we forced all humans to become supernaturals, or, we take away the supernaturals' ability?"
"What is the third option?"
"We wipe out all the humans" Tomura stated. "If all the humans are supernaturals, they will be able to control karma and supernaturals will no longer be needed or kill them off and be over with it"
Kakashi was bewildered as he took several steps backward.
"Damn you!" Kakashi said. "You're more messed up than I thought. That's the most fucked up thing I've ever heard in my entire life. And you think I'm going to agree to that!?. Damn you!!!"
"You want peace, don't you?"
"Of course, I do. But that is not the right thing to do"
"Why do you want to be a hero??I'm sure you can give me a reasonable answer since you know the right thing to do"
Kakashi's eyes widened, he did say he wanted to be a hero but he had never thought why. Was it because his mother asked him to try to save people in need? No.
"After what you just said, I'm sure you're going to say something like: 'It was because the strong was meant to protect the weak' or 'It was someone important to me dying wish'. I want to hear your thoughts, why? Why do you sacrifice yourself for humans, when you know you'll die with nobody by your side?"
"Nobody by my side?" Kakashi repeated. "You know, at first I didn't really care, maybe up till this point I still don't care about really being a hero, I don't know what or how someone becomes a hero. But, that smile that was on Hinata's face when I saved her life, the smile on my class girls faces when I fought those supernaturals at the beach, I want to keep those smiles on their faces, I want them not to worry about anything again. That's why I want to be a hero, so I can give people hope. So you're wrong, I sacrifice myself for others so when I die, I'll be surrounded by those people I've saved."
"The strong protect the weak, who is going to protect you then?"
"That's why I tried to make as many friends as I can, so I'll never be alone"
"That's all just a lie. Go on, lie to yourself, lie to others, give them false hope because that's all you're good at!!!" Tomura yelled. "That's what I hate about all of you the most, your false Ideology, your stupid mentality all of you are nothing but hypocrite who keep lying to themselves even when they know the truth!!"
"The truth!?" Kakashi asked. "If killing everyone is the right thing to do for you then you're the one who is lying. If lying means fighting no matter the odds or working hard while keeping in mind that there are better days ahead of us, then I rather keep living a lie than know the truth!!!!"
"Since we can't get our points across to each other, we just have to fight and the winner will be determined by who was correct about their sense of peace"
*BOOOOMMMMMM!!*
Another explosion erupted from where the sages were supposed to be seated above the parking lot.
_The sages must be fighting the demon too, that means the Tomura with me is a clone and I could easily take him down_ Kakashi thought.
As Kakashi and Tomura ran to each other, each ready to land the first hit.

"Huh?" Kakashi paused and looked up only to see a figure falling from the sky. He quickly avoided Tomura's punch and caught it before it fell to the ground.
_it'... it's a kid!_
A boy who was about twelve years old opened his eyes weakly. The right side of his body was burnt, including his red hair and some side of his uniform.
_An ASE uniform, but it's colored red. This kid is from the ASE. But he was too young to fight, I guess Tomura was right._
"Isn't that our little flame sage, I knew it would have been a little bit harder to kill you" Tomura remarked.
_Flame sage, this kid is the flame sage!_
"I guess my clone was too much for you, even though you managed to defeat it, you still got some injuries on you" Tomura mocked and then laughed.
The boy attempted to open his mouth but blood came out as he tried to talk.
"Tomura, you did this, didn't you?" Kakashi's facial expression changed, it was worse than the first time he lost his temper.
"Maybe it was me, maybe it was not" He smiled.
"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!!!!"
