It was night. We were all asleep. Well, except for one in the family, who's had insomnia for a while. She is our mother, Toki, and she is struggling with keeping herself together sometimes, but she's never told us anything about the powers that she possesses. She's hyperventilating. Her breathing gets faster and faster, and she is holding the sheets really tight. She has enough of her own stress. She wakes up Quaîţ, our father, who is laying beside her in the bed. She tells him about the problem.
"I think it's happening. I don't know what's happening but I can't withstand it."
"I will wake up the kids."
I hear footsteps. Our father enters and wakes us up.
"What's happening?" I said while wiping my eyes and waking up. The others woke up as well.
"Just stay in here. I will keep you safe."
We all waited for a while. We heard a fearsome scream from outside the door. Dust went through the crevice of the door. I was shaking in terror. The dust force got stronger, and broke down the door. We were all, even our dad, pushed by the wind into the wall behind us. We don't know where mom is. We hear a police siren. Then footsteps. I wanna go out to check on what happened, but I couldn't even open my eyes.
"HE'S IN HERE!! GET MOVING!"
We then hear handcuffs being put on someone. Then after a while, everything went silent. On that day, we were being taken care of in the hospital while we would not see our parents for years…
