After separating from Zoran, Alex went straight to the Union building in Balon City. It was night already but the Union building still had a good number of people going in and out of it.
As usual, Alex used Void Walk to arrive in Clint's office. Clint was surprised to see Alex and expressed that he had not seen Mr Chen for some time.
Alex said that was dealing with some private matters and wasn't able to stop by. However, he was done with the things he needed to do now and was prepared to heard to Brandvel.

Clint had no comments on this and led Alex to the room where the cub was being kept. Upon entering, a streak of black lightning flashed as the cub pounced at Alex.
