Hamar reached out before she stopped himself, this was an enemy...a member of Yi Sect, should he even console them? No! It doesn't matter! He reached out his hand, and knelt down beside her, putting his hand on her shoulders.
"I know what you are feeling, that last bit of hope fizzling out..." He looked down himself and started to speak, speak about his own feelings.
He did that for just a few moments then let Ban's weeping continue. He pat her on the back, "Let it all out...let it out..."
After a while of time passed, Ban's tears dried and she threw her head back. She let out a loud groan and sigh, "I knew it..." She smiled lightly and chuckled while crying, "I knew, I really did. In the back of my head, I knew it was a false hope."
She held up her hand and squeezed the air, "..." She said nothing but nothing said more than any word could do. Hamar felt his own tears form, then drop down his cheek. Ban dropped her hand and looked towards Hamar and his tears. She looked into his eyes for a few moments before she spoke, "You...Let me help you, you want to stop them, don't you?"
Her face was red with complicated emotions, Hamar observed pain, sadness, anger and self loathing. He nodded subtly.
Ban stood up, "Then let me give you the help I can, I can only hope it will be enough..." She coughed lightly, blood splattered onto her light dress, sleeping into the fibres.
Hamar jumped, "Don't speak, let me companion treat you!"
Ban shoved his arm away, "It doesn't matter, don't you wonder why she hasn't come over yet?"
Before Hamar could question, she explained, "I'm a member of Yi Sect, I can't just 'betray' them without consequence. When you entered Time Pool I created an illusion."
"An illusion..."
"Doesn't matter if it's your friend or Yi Sect or the creator himself, no one should be able to see past it while I'm alive." Once again she clutched her chest and spat out another glob of blood.
She continued, "Don't mind me at all, just listen and pay attention. Yi Sect is closer than you think. They've begun new experimentation to take control over the world rather than destroy it!"
Ban's breathing became rough and the illusion shook, "They've learned how to exploit the world and can now use it to spy everywhere and help their techniques while weakening others. The World's favour is upon them!"
Her face instantly became pale, "I've not much longer, you must stop them, stop them before they can take control over the World and escape to the next! You must -"
As she spoke, she was interrupted by blobs of flesh coming up from her mouth, her skin bleeding all over. The initially green dress dyed red from blood. With her last breath she jumped to Hamar's ear and whispered one last thing...
Hamar's eyes shrunk, then he shut them tightly.
He summoned his Sword Soul into his hand and stabbed Ban. His Sword Soul, like water, flowed through her body like butter. It stabbed right through and the blood seeped into the rivers, dying them crimson. The sword vanished as it fell apart, the bloody rivers of Ban's death glowing into Hamar's flesh. His eyes shut tight and his whole body contracted.
In his mind, Hamar's self was washed away; instead replaced by the last dying memories of the one he killed.

Outside of the illusion Ban had cast, Yan continued to start into the fissure in the sky. After a few more moments she threw down her hands and sighed, "Something's wrong..."
She clicked her tongue, "I don't know what...but something...something's off here..." She crossed her arms and began looking around.
She recalled that time just as she woke up, that feeling that there was something watching her. That feeling was gone but her intuition could only tell her that this had something to do with it.
Yet as soon as she began looking, her intuition suddenly changed. It returned to normal, that there was nothing wrong.
Yan did not buy this happening naturally and so she pulled out a set of pills from her robe. She through 10 pills out, one from each finger, in a circle around her. The orbs burst and let out energy which had a certain formation built in. The energy formed into a large multi-layered formation.
Yan stood in the centre, holding in her hands two separate control circles. She spun them around and let out a wave of piercing vision laws. The formation around her looked like an illusory turtle shell and inside it, she was completely protected. Once the wave of piercing vision was launched, a figure appeared outside the shell.
He hissed and flew back, "Stupid girl..."
He was a handsome young man with pale white skin and shorter silky black hair. He bared his fangs and shouted a supersonic scream which pierced the turtle shell and caused Yan to falter for a moment, "What happened?! I forgot to activate the non physical barrier...that shouldn't...". Before she could think, the man jumped forward and spun in the air, transforming into a bat. He shot through where the turtle shell should have been but was temporarily stopped because of his screech.
He transformed back into a human and kicked towards Yan, "If you had just been stupid, you could've left, now you must die!"
Yan held her arms in front of her, before the kick contacted, she activated a technique. "Luckily I used this recently so the remnant effects will make it activate faster!" Her arms grew double the size they usually were and using the burst of strength she grabbed the man's legs and swung him out of the shell.
Whirring though the air, the man turned to black mist and back into a bat. However before he could fly back into the turtle shell formation, Yan reactivated the formation.
The turtle shell turned physical again and now Yan rubbed her mouth of blood and began formulating a technique. This was her ultimate defensive formation, normally no one should have been able to break it, even for a moment, however she had by chance not activated it properly.
This time however, she made sure to activate it fully, "Turtle Shell Myriad Formations, 34th move: Tracking Shadows!"
