Hamar nodded and Xuan Yu pulled his hand up. Under the two a dark circle opened, dark purple tentacles creating a dome around them.
Hamar was cautious but did not sense any danger, keeping his aura still he held his hands behind him as he inspected the tentacles.
He squinted and secretly tapped his robe. A slithering snakes like dragon awoke before stopping in its tracks.
It spoke within Hamar's head, "A space path technique, it should be similar to what the main body once used. I don't remember the technique fully but it uses a domain of space laws to essentially teleport...feed me death, constantly talking is hungry."
Hamar internally groaned, "Wait your time. I will feed you soon." The dragon seemingly heard him and slithered deep into his robe and went to sleep once more.
He coughed and turned to Xuan Yu, "A space technique to use a domain in order to effectively teleport?" He put on a tone befitting how Xuan Yu thought him to be.
Xuan Yu's eye twitched, "Yes...amazing that you could deduce so much" he was smiling but deep down he was cursing Hamar, "I can't detect any laws nor techniques from him yet he can see through me?!"
He gritted his teeth and sweeped his hand, the tentacles following him and unfurling. They retracted back into the dark circle which then closed.
Xuan Yu sat down and motioned for Hamar to follow. He sat in a cushion on the floor with a small table in front today him.
Hamar smirked and sat down, looking into Xuan Yu's eyes. He didn't exude any intention, but he did internally create an aura of danger.
Xuan Yu squinted as he felt his intuition tingle, he chuckled and slapped his knee.
"You are a character indeed!" He picked up the teapot and quickly poured two cups, one for himself and one for Hamar.
He picked it up and held it up, exuding his own aura. Hamar saw his attitude and looked at his intuition which saw that he was not scared, he has a trump card, "Cheers"
He picked his own cup up and tapped it, then taking a sip. He felt the tea coat his refreshed taste buds. Closing his eyes he noted the enhanced senses beyond a normal human.
Xuan Yu placed his cup down and spoke frankly, "Senior, you must be here for a reason, you wouldn't just be wandering and found some thieves and brought them here..."
Hamar held the cup in his hand as he savoured the smell. He flicked his eyes over and made up a reason, "I've actually just finished some closed cultivation and was wondering whether you would exchange some laws with me?"
"I could...but what are you looking for? Spirit stones or other laws?"
Hamar paused for a moment while his thoughts sped. "Other laws or spirit stones...spirit stones must be the currency of places outside the sect...I guess contribution points wouldn't make sense out here..."
As his thoughts flew by, he heard a tap on the table opposite of him. He looked up and saw Xuan Yu smiling.
Hamar activate this intuition and tried to look deeper into his thoughts. By doing so Hamar deduced it was likely that Xuan Yu continued to believe Hamar was stronger than he actually was.
"A bit of both actually...what can you do?"
Xuan Yu squinted, looking into Hamar's eyes for a moment, 'He can afford anything?'. He bit the inside of his lip as he calculated.
His finger rapped the table, "five high quality spirit stones" he looked toward Hamar as if he was merely testing the waters. Hamar scoffed lightly and Xuan Yu continued, "And laws...hm, well let's just say I can give a good amount of space laws for whatever you give"
Hamar nodded and took another sip, 'I remember Hou said spirit stones was how people became cultivators, that one needed to turn their soul into a spirit stone...are these stones...are they 'harvested'? Is five a lot...I'll not acknowledge it in case I get the value wrong.' he finished his sip and made his decision.
"Is there any laws you need right now?" Hamar decided to ask the other party what they wanted.
"Anything related to space, or Celestial bodies, or... movement"
Hamar smiled, 'That confirms my theory...he is a space law cultivator with a focus on movement.' he nodded and looked inwards.
He focused on that connection he had to Hou's body. It could connect and transport laws between the two bodies, allowing Hamar to keep laws despite his aura.
He looked inside and noticed something, for a moment his whole body froze. 'Hou is still cultivating! I can sense it lightly...the amount of poison laws are increasing, is he in somewhere with poison laws right now?'
Xuan Yu saw his hesitation and coughed lightly. Hamar snapped out of his stupor and shook his head. At the same time as he spoke with Xuan Yu he looked within Hou's body.
"I can do sun laws? How about one high quality spirit stone and some space laws?"
Xuan Yu squinted and thought for a moment, "depending what you give, then sure." He held out his hand and Hamar took it.
They shook hands and with his intuition Hamar realised what he was to do, he started to pour sun laws from Hou's body through his magical connection and into Xuan Yu.
Xuan Yu kept nodding and then after a few moments he let go, "That's sufficient." He looked to the side, 'Perhaps too much...'
Hamar raised his eyebrows as he thought, 'Too much? Hou still has so much Sun laws...are spirit stones that cheap? Should I get more? No...head be suspicious if I changed my mind'
Xuan Yu held out his hand again and this time he injected a large amount of space laws into Hamar's body. For moment the laws started to be attacked by his aura.
The aura and laws clashed, decimating to nothing. Hamar flinched and used his mental energy to shield the laws for a moment while they were sucked into Hou's body.
After a few moments the deal was complete and Xuan Yu passed Hamar a spirit stone before sending him away.

In a certain shop, an old woman handed over herbs to customers. As she tapped a card to a similar one on the customers, a loud sound banged behind her.
She hurriedly pushed her customers out before locking the door. She unlocked a trapdoor and dropped down.
As she fell her form morphed into a beastial phantom. She prowled as a black lynx and came upon a glowing green lake.
Her predator eyes shone and she growled, "The laws are being taken...some laws are disappearing while it still absorbs more..."

Hamar stood outside the town while holding the spirit stone in his hands. He felt that it was a unique object and it gave him a repulsed feeling.
"Is it because of my aura? Spirit stones have something to do with laws so it's likely..."
Before he thought about that he took out a piece of paper and wrote something out, "Don't ask me how but Hou is alive. He's cultivating but not conscious...I don't think."
He sealed the letter and threw it into the air. It transformed into pink miasma and dissipated. "I hope master gets something from it..."
