Chapter 49 - Chapter 49: Leo: He Is Mine

!Class assignment rules.

Based on the performance of newcomers in the first layer of the Energies of Human Realm, the students are assigned to various classes. It doesn't matter if you're temporarily assigned to Class B or Class C; as long as you perform well in the subsequent layers, you still have a chance to rise to Class A. However, don't get complacent if you're assigned to Class A. If you don't perform well in the following layers, you could fall back to Class B or even Class C.

Chicago University uses these rules to motivate students, encouraging them to maintain their fighting spirit.

Ben originally thought that with his performance in the first layer of the Energies of Human Realm, he should be able to enter Class A. However, when he received his report card, it showed that he had been assigned to Class B. The reason given was that although he performed well in the first layer, his talent had major flaws and lacked potential.

Good heavens! The Great Superman physique had become a flawed talent? And lacking potential?

Ben smiled. He could sense that something was off about this report card, but he didn't feel like arguing about it. Class B was fine! To be honest, he quite liked being in Class B. Old Adore was a good teacher—cold on the outside but warm on the inside—and never forced students to do things they didn't want to do. It was just right for him.

With the report card in hand, Ben turned and walked into the Class B classroom.

Meanwhile, not far away, Director Aryan noticed that Ben didn't make a fuss and sighed in relief. Assigning Ben to Class B had been his decision. And he had a specific reason for making such a decision.

Seeing Ben consciously walk into the Class B classroom, Aryan took out his phone and sent a message to his nephew…

Soon, the class assignments were completed. The students walked into their respective classrooms. Previously, each class had 100 people, but now that was impossible. Each class had only 83 students. Some students hadn't returned from the first layer of the Energies of Human Realm.

The missing students were distributed among the three classes.

Class B

As a group of students walked into the classroom and saw Ben sitting in his seat, they were stunned. Ben had become a celebrity at Chicago University, second only to Leo Haitang in popularity. Who didn't know him? Moreover, these students were originally in Class B and had been classmates with Ben for a month, so they were all familiar faces.

"Ben? Why are you still sitting here?"

"Yeah! With your grades, shouldn't you be in Class A next door?"

Several students asked one after another.

Ben smiled and replied, "Can't I just like the atmosphere of Class B?"

The crowd certainly didn't believe this.

Just as they were about to ask more, Old Adore walked into the classroom.

"What are you all doing over there? Aren't you going to start class?" Old Adore's voice rang out, causing the students to scatter, revealing Ben sitting in the middle.

"Ben?" Old Adore looked surprised upon seeing him.

"Why are you still in Class B?"

Hearing this question, Ben felt a little helpless, so he simply handed over his report card.

"Teacher, take a look for yourself."

Old Adore took a quick glance at it before his expression changed to one of surprise.

Then, Old Adore frowned and said in dissatisfaction, "What kind of reason is this? This is unfair treatment! I'm going to find them and ask!"

"Don't!" Ben quickly stopped him. "Teacher, forget it. I think it's fine for me to stay in Class B. I prefer studying with you rather than in Class A."

Hearing this, Old Adore said with a hint of displeasure, "You just like me not interfering with you, right?"

Ben smiled, which was his way of agreeing.

After thinking for a moment, Old Adore understood the leaders' plan. They were clearly trying to separate Ben and Leo Haitang, fearing their relationship might affect their daily training. And further ahead, the leaders might even be subtly altering their thinking…

Thinking of this, Old Adore sighed slightly. To be honest, he didn't really approve of Ben and Leo Haitang's relationship either. The gap between their talents was just too big.

"Since you want to stay here, then stay here!" Old Adore said, walking back to the podium to begin teaching.

"There are many new students in the class. Let me introduce myself first," Old Adore began. "My surname is Adore, and I am your head teacher. I will be responsible for your daily training moving forward."

He then asked the students to report their names and talents once again. After all, many new faces had joined the class, and Old Adore needed to get a sense of their talents for targeted training. The good students had all been assigned to Class A, and the students remaining in Class B had more average talents. However, Old Adore wasn't discouraged by this. He was just as serious and responsible as before.

Once all the students had introduced themselves, Old Adore asked again, "Everyone, the spirit energy points you obtained in the first layer of the Energies of Human Realm haven't been used yet, right?"

The students nodded.

"Good!" Old Adore said. "Don't use your spirit energy points yet. After I summarize your information, I will give some suggestions on how to allocate them. You can use my suggestions as a reference when allocating them."

"Of course, my suggestions are just a choice. If you have better ideas, feel free to ignore them."

The students nodded again.

Initially, some of the newcomers were a bit intimidated by Old Adore's stern appearance, but they quickly realized that he was very easy to talk to.

After some additional precautions, the first class ended. The afternoon would be dedicated to training. The remaining time in the morning was free for students to get to know each other. After all, the class assignments had just been made, so the students needed some time to adjust.

There was no need to worry about forming teams because the class assignments had been made according to the teams.

Well, except for Ben…

Just as Ben was about to return to his apartment, a clear voice suddenly called out from behind him.

"Ben!"

Ben stopped and turned to see Leo Haitang.

"Which class were you assigned to?" Leo asked, her face cold.

"Class B," Ben replied.

Upon hearing this, Leo's pretty face darkened, and her expression grew even colder. She glared at Ben and asked, "Ben, did they communicate with you in advance about assigning you to Class B? Was it your own choice, or did they decide on their own?"

As soon as Ben heard this, he realized that Leo was upset about his assignment to Class B! Like Old Adore, she felt he had been treated unfairly.

Ben thought for a moment and answered honestly, "They didn't communicate with me… but it's okay. I heard that Teacher Robert in your class is very strict and controlling. If I had gone to Class A, I might have felt uncomfortable."

"One thing is one thing!" Leo's face remained cold, her eyes filled with anger. "You were brought in by me. It's fine if you want to stay in Class B, but I won't let them bully you."

With that, Leo turned and left. She appeared to be heading toward the leadership office.

Ben stood there, stunned.

"Am I… being protected by Leo Haitang?"

Then he thought, "What am I? Her kept boy toy?"
