The girl in front of her looked relatively young, barely in her early twenties.
Julissa nodded, "What's the matter?"
She seemed to be very distressed, and said, "I want to eat this but I can't tell if this is cilantro or celery." Julissa was left dumbfounded.
Without thinking, she blurted out "It seems like there are characters written on it."
She then turned her head and found that one was written as cilantro, and the other as parsley.
The girl looked a bit embarrassed, pointed at the one labeled "parsley," and said, "I understand this one, it's parsley, but I don't think it looks like parsley. It's called yuán..."
With a strange expression on his face, Julissa answered, "This is cilantro, and the other is parsley. The 'cilantro' is coriander."
The girl suddenly realized, "So that's it!"
Full of gratitude, she thanked him, "Thank you so much!"
Then she secretly told Julissa, "My mother-in-law can't stand cilantro, but I love it!"
Julissa couldn't help but laugh.
