Dong Zhirou looked pale, her color horrid as if she was ill.
She strode in abruptly, and towards Jodelle, she sank to her knees with a 'thud'.
This sudden display of humility had everyone startled.
Jodelle immediately stood up, her brows furrowing as she asked, "Zhirou, what are you doing? What happened?"
Dong Zhirou's face was as pale as death, large teardrops started falling at the sound of Jodelle's words.
She knelt in front of Jodelle, crying out, "I'm sorry, Auntie, I'm really sorry... I've done something terrible, my actions are no better than a beast's!"
Jodelle's eyes hardened, "Speak clearly!"
But before she could get an answer, Dong Zhirou's mother, who was standing behind her, also started wiping her tears while crying, "We owe you an apology, Harvey family. My god, if I had known my daughter would do such a beastly thing, I would have never let her!"
