However, Harley declined, tightly hugging Wolcott's neck and cooed, "Nope, Harley likes grandpa, Harley wants to hug grandpa for a while, else, he'll be taken away!"
Wolcott's face subtly changed. He asked Harley, "Who taught you this?"
Hugging Wolcott's neck, Harley pouted and replied, "Nobody taught Harley, Harley just doesn't want grandpa to be taken away."
The little tyke's adorable earnestness finally softened
Wolcott's expression. "Why do you think grandpa will be taken away?"
"Because grandpa doesn't visit Harley. Auntie said that grandpa was taken by a bad lady, and not with grandma anymore. That's why grandpa doesn't care about Harley,"
Harley narrated a bit aggrievedly.
"Harley doesn't want grandpa to be taken away, Harley wants to be with grandpa forever."
The sincerity in the little one's milky voice was moving. Wolcott's heart was about to melt, and he gently rubbed Harley's head.
