Chapter 54 - [Book 1] CHAPTER 14 - Stealthy Evil [1]

The dawn of the following day, RongCheng permitted people to stealthily escort Yan Si back to the palace first, while his very self conversely in a dignified and righteous manner returned.

In the meantime, Shang Yuan, catching sight of the person returning in peace and safety, thereupon was extremely joyful. RongCheng stated his own self departed to inspect the populace's condition, causing him to continuously be anxious and worried, fearing the man again encountered assassins.

Sighting Shang Yuan in such a manner, RongCheng naturally possessed a qualm of conscience; he embraced the person into his bosom for a truly long while, faintly speaking: "Merely one day of meeting not, I truly miss you to the ultimate degree."

Shang Yuan shook his head, faintly smiling, his hands also wrapping across to embrace upon RongCheng; even so, the period of time his eyes unintentionally glided to look across the man's neck, he suddenly detected a strange point…

Upon RongCheng's neck, there remained a red spot looking exactly as though it were… a hickey…

Thinking toward it, Shang Yuan possessed a short bit of panic: "A hickey? For what cause upon his person is there a hickey? Incapable of happening…"

This definitely was induced by RongCheng being careless and permitting himself to be bitten by a mosquito; how could the man perform an action like that behind his back?

Albeit knowing RongCheng afterward, if not becoming the Emperor, would also become a King, possessing three wives and four concubines or an imperial harem of a thousand people entirely was a matter of obvious certainty; even so, Shang Yuan had once spoken, if that day occurred, then his very self would instantly depart.

For that reason, in order to hold fast onto the person by his side, RongCheng had once established a vow and oath, throughout his entire life solely requiring one virtuous wife, even if his own self were to be devoid of descendants, he would also care not.

By reason of that… the person definitely would never break the oath.

In this interval, outside of believing RongCheng, Shang Yuan truly knew not what further to perform, daring not to interrogate, all the more daring not to hear the answer.

If the person's heart truly had already been placed toward someone else, then he knew his own self must perform what?

While Shang Yuan was extremely shifting in panic, Yan Si conversely all the more entwined around RongCheng; knowing the man each day departed to practice martial arts, he thereupon fabricated an excuse wishing to follow to study and practice.

Afterward, he continually with enthusiasm disrupted RongCheng, ignoring whether Shang Yuan was present or not; he truly paid no attention at all, but the man conversely at all times observed.

Shang Yuan began to pay attention toward the actions of the two people; it seemed there was something more intimate, indeed a blurred matter difficult to speak out.

And then continuously in a regular manner every four days, RongCheng again used an excuse to depart somewhere; catching sight of thus, in the evening Shang Yuan secretly came toward Yan Si's place to examine. The period of catching sight of him pacing back and forth inside the room thereupon caused his suspicion to temporarily settle down.

Three months in such a manner passed across, each matter again returned to its place. RongCheng knew Shang Yuan had once caught sight of the hickey, by reason of that, afterward, whatever he performed, he entirely was truly cautious and careful, and always returned to the palace before midnight.

The night was already late, perhaps the person inside the room had peacefully slept; RongCheng stealthily pushed lightly upon the door to step inside, avoiding generating a disturbance that would cause the person to awaken.

Right afterward, he then lightly removed his outer garments to hang them upon the rack and then in silence came beside the bed to slowly lie down.

Every movement his person performed was truly faint, yet it still awakened Shang Yuan; the person did not directly open his eyes to look, but solely asked: "Have you returned or not?"

RongCheng rubbed upon the tip of his own nose, bursting into a smile, saying: "I have returned, again causing Yuan-er to awaken."

Shang Yuan faintly shook his head, speaking no further, continuing to release his very self into the dream.

RongCheng lay opposite toward Shang Yuan, in silence looking and gazing at the person for a truly long while. The dim and illusory light of the lamp from afar shining across all the more caused the person's countenance to add a portion of supreme beauty.

Watching a short bit, RongCheng again extended his hand to touch upon the tip of Shang Yuan's nose, right after that shifting toward the cheeks, the lips…

The period of being incapable of restraining himself, he thereupon faintly kissed upon the person's lips, lingering for a long while, unable to bear to depart.

RongCheng truly was incapable of imagining out how his own self would be if he lost this person.

"No… my very self absolutely cannot permit that matter to occur." Toward RongCheng, his wife was the most important entity upon the world; he could lose whatever entity, but absolutely could not permit losing the person.

In the meantime, Shang Yuan, being disrupted, at that instant awakened; in no time he had already been stripped clean of garments by RongCheng.

Shang Yuan in helplessness let out a sigh, asking: "Do you not intend to sleep or not?"

RongCheng shook his head: "I have slept much already; tonight together with me enjoy a bit of pleasure."

Truly it had been several consecutive nights that RongCheng solely in entirety slept… very rarely moving his hands and feet; he looked to be truly weary and aching.

Catching sight of his husband in such a manner, how could Shang Yuan bear to reject? In the final analysis, he thereupon together with RongCheng entwined, right after that again embracing each other to sleep a single turn all the way until noon.

Unclear for what cause, but RongCheng suddenly sensed Shang Yuan was exceptionally passionate, completely different from former times… although what he received in return was a physical frame thoroughly weary and aching, yet the person still pampered him.

Having obtained one night, then surely there was a second night, and then again a third…

Arriving to the fourth day, RongCheng still continuously entwined around his wife, wishing not to depart.

In the meantime, the very person of Shang Yuan began to generate fear, yet how dared he speak out? He solely with enthusiasm responded back to test and see whether on the fourth day the man still departed or not.

As expected, that night RongCheng in no way departed, still continuously with enthusiasm sought satisfaction upon Shang Yuan's physical frame. Speaking of pleasure at this place, he already possessed sufficiency, naturally how could he remember Yan Si? In the final analysis, he again left him alone to stay awake throughout the entire night.
