Chapter 26 - Chapter 24: Unraveling the Forbidden

The following evening, Harry and Ivan slipped through the castle corridors, their footsteps barely making a sound on the cold stone floor. The air was thick with the scent of old parchment and burning torches, a reminder of the centuries of secrets buried within Hogwarts' walls.

Harry clutched the book tightly under his robes. Echoes of the Forgotten Arts pulsed faintly in his hands, as if eager to reveal more of its mysteries.

"This passage will help you to find answers of your questions.",Ivan said.

Harry widened hopis eyes,"How do you know about this passage."

"I'm here to help you for finding the answers of forgotten Harry but are you sure about this?" Ivan whispered as they approached a hidden passage behind a tapestry of Morgana Le Fay.

Harry frowned hearing the mistrious words of Ivan, thaught for a while and nodded. "I need answers."

With a flick of his wand, he muttered, "Alohomora." The hidden passage clicked open, revealing a narrow staircase leading downward into the shadows.

They descended cautiously, the air growing colder with each step. When they reached the bottom, the room before them was unlike any part of the castle they had seen.

Ancient runes lined the walls, glowing faintly in shades of silver and blue. In the center of the chamber, a stone pedestal stood, its surface carved with intricate symbols.

"This place…" Ivan whispered in awe.

Harry stepped forward, placing the book onto the pedestal. As soon as it touched the surface, the runes flared to life. A low hum vibrated through the chamber, and the pages of the book flipped open on their own.

The words shifted before their eyes, rearranging themselves into a new passage:

"To awaken the Forgotten, one must first become part of the lost."

Ivan exchanged a glance with Harry. "What do you think it means?"

Harry ran his fingers over the symbols on the pedestal, a strange warmth seeping into his skin. "I think it's telling us we have to take a step beyond what we know."

As if in response, the runes on the walls pulsed, and the chamber trembled. The air crackled with energy, wrapping around them like unseen tendrils of power.

And then, from the darkness, something whispered back.
